all the sonic 2d games have always been awesome. After SA two I kinda stopped playing. Sonic should always be in the 2d world. Things just don't make any sense in 3d for him, same with mario, but hes got galaxies which is a trip in and of itself.

Unless, They can improve on 3D segments and make it just as good as 1 and 2 adventure then i highly suggest they go back to 2D roots. I mean don't get me wrong Sonic Heroes, Sonic Unleashed, and Sonic and the black knight was'nt to bad i liked them. But next-gen and secret rings are garbage. And to make things worse, Sega even managed to f*** up sonic for the gba. HOW SEGA EXPLAIN YOURSELVES!!

One of the best Sonic games in my opinion. I have this on Sonic Gems for Gamecube. So glad Sonic Team finally decided to release it, after saying it would be too difficult to emulate! xP

I like the music for both Japanese and US versions, but I have to say I prefer this one. Sonic Boom fits the action better than You Can Do Anything.
