This isn't effective, My friend tries it on SSB(the first one)and it doesn't work on lvl 3 coms. the first time, it can catch you off guard the first time, after that never again. Its not a good enough combo to be worth that 1 time to use it.....

This "technique's" simplicity as well as its predictability makes it very ineffective; even an attack as simple as Link's two side-smashes would be more efficient (about as much damage and quicker; therefore less predictable).

Here's my recommendation to you: if any combo doesn't work on a lvl 9 CPU, discard it as a combo

I don't remember with nunchuck cause i don't play with nunchuck and wiimote.

You can airdodge or DI.

Better example: You throw the bomb, grab your enemy, WAIT a bit AND THEN Throw up. You are holding your enemy upward in the move, then the bomb hits him (but not you ;-) ) and then Tink or Link are Throwing him upward^^.

you know i have done this trick but personally i dont like useing it i have many other combos with Link and Toon Link that can beat useing the Bomb i seldom use it i like useing the Gale boomerang and bombs though if you throw a bomb up with the enemy behind you thrwo the gale boomrang and n its way back do a tiny hop as to avoid catching the boomrang and avoid hitting the bomb the bomb gets stuck in the wind and hits the for its really hard to do and dosent do much damage so its more for show

I do something similar. I throw a boomerang over their head then grapple them, punch them a bit, let the boomerang come back and hit em, then throw them up and by then the bomb is close enough for immediate impact. It's pretty dominant.

i like my extended version better. Throw a bomb up in th air grapple the enemy throwthem up. then when they get hit and is falling towards you, use the spin attack. works good for me if they have already been damaged a little.

My favorite for Toon Link is to give the other guy at least 50 damage, then throw a bomb straight up above them, fast fall, and hit them with an up-smash. They'll fly into the bomb. They may rarely catch it, but if they do, they have to chuck it fast, or it will blow in their hands, anyway.

Try throwing the bomb ahead of you at your foe and then grappling them. Back in 64 that was the primary damager in my bombing style, in meele it was a 1/2 second pause but it was effective, I dont think it can be done with Link because his bomjbs are so powerfull, TL however I have done it once or twice before and didnt get hit my the blast radius, though it takes expert distancing.

This actually works. What matters is when and how long you can keep your opponents in the hold, and how close the bomb is before you throw. The main influence is how much damage you have on your opponent: It wouldn't work very well at small percentages, but at moderate to heavy percentages (40% and upwards) it would be harder to DI out of (as you're traveling faster).
