Is this Ed Banger or Morissey? I'm sure they were both in the band together at some point and I remember seeing bootleg footage of Morissey performing this.
I've got this on an old 33 compo album called "The Crap Stops Here" with The Nosebleeds, Ed Banger, Slaughter and the Dogs,Prime Time Suckers...........
@baldy1 I had that, it was GREAT. wish I knew whatever happened to it, along w/ all the other lp s, ep s, and singles I had! The Nosebleeds had kind of a "psychedelic" sort of edge to them, for a '77 punk band anyway.
fuck the morrisey connection e wuz only involved 4 a couple u days if that eddy garrity is ya man fantasic n vinni reily on guitar great 77 i agree streets traks r good infact its a gud album chek out is god a man by arfer comix re the sniveling shits
Has anyone got Streets compilation? Would like to hear Cane: College Girls again! And "what shall you do when you can´t stand no more r´n´r"! Pic would be a nice surprise as the cover was drawn by Johnny Savage or whatever...
I still cant imagine Morrissey singing this, and before you say it, yes i know he didn't play on this recording but he was in the last (i think) line up.
Ah Rabid records what a label.Them and TJM were the best labels at the time in Manchester so my dad says.Cant believe my dad was a punk.Wheres the outatunes with mc tunes? Now he was ahead of his time.
"Roots in punk, and to me, with that distinctive 'London Sound', but there is a twist here and there. Great pace, very tight and listenable sets, where more than competent bass and drums move along with excellent lead guitar and vocals. Some tracks and videos have unusual but fitting quirks which all indicate this is a band to watch for on the pro circuit. It is living proof that Britains' Got Talent!" John B
NME, May 1978: The Nosebleeds have also noticeably metamorphosed (..) Last year they were the entirely forgettable Ed Banger and the Nosebleeds (who 'created' the dirge-like single "Ain't Bin To No Music School" for Rabid Records); now Banger has gone his own so-called eccentric way. The Nosebleeds re-surface boasting A Front Man With Charisma. Lead singer is now minor local legend Steve Morrisson (sic!), who, in his own way, is at least aware that rock'n'roll is about magic, and inspiration.
