Dofus was my first and fav mmorpg but the p2p pissed me off and stopped me playing if wakfu do the same then this game is going to fail make it f2p but some charecters p2p or something like that such a small company shouldn't go straight with p2p it dosnt atract much atention and fails as a mmo

@MrRyfoe I believe the current state of Wakfu is that it is f2p, all characters available, but there is a subscription option which adds certain aspects. I am not entirely sure, just what I understood so far.

In my opinion when i played this game, its really great especially to people who loves RPG tactics gameplay since the skills are very in-depth with a lot of strategy. I don't play dofus though :P

@chipaputalaguea i too have played hundreds of rpgs like elsword and grand chase too. thats why i never judge a game before giving it a try. like this game which i started because dofus was one of the 1st mmos i played. what does the style have to do with it? borderlands isnt realistic looking but it was still a great game. why? because its all about gameplay not graphics and this game has completely unique gameplay for an mmo. including an ecosystem. (try programming that!)

@Dazeezd the name may be wierd but hey its french and they are weird too. i suggest at least giving it a try before hating on it. this game and dofus are one of a kind turn based fighting rpgs. dofus may be p2p after a while but since wakfu is in open beta its all completely free. also wakfu is the only game in the world with an actual interactive eco system for players to mess up or take care of (that already makes it worth at least a try)

@Galkatokk "looks like" have you played it? It's pretty bad and still needs a lot of work. Real quests don't actually exist, the classes are SUPER unbalanced. Also, it's boring unless you like grinding. Seriously, this game is just grinding. There's not much to look at and what you're seeing here is basically what you're getting minus how long some fights can actually take.
