After a couple of weeks nook will ask you about his store again, answer inventory and within a couple of days he'll change it back to nookingtons, hope I helped!

Wish the store hours were 24 hours. This is a big complaint to me. If there ever in the future a new version of this game made i hope the makers of this game will change the store hours to 24hrs.

Yeah, but I think he starts selling them only after you upgrade from Nook's Cranny. To do so, just buy enough stuff at his store (not at once, progressively). I just got some tools, some furniture, medicine, and seeds (the latter every day, and I upgraded in about a week).
