  • When customers ask if you work here is actually a legitimate question. Sometimes there are vendors in our store and they stock their specific product on the shelves. The vendor obviously doesn't know the store very well, but the customer doesn't know that. So the vendor will respond usually "I don't work here".

  • I can pretty much sum it up "the thing I hate the most about retail is black people"

  • An asian girl with a british accent, I'm so confused and intrigued at the same time.

  • @AmericanCritiquer australian accent hahah

  • @tiaraa3 ahh, how could I have missed that. I wonder if australians get more frustrated if someone says their from the uk or new zealand.

Anyways, did you quit your retail job yet or what?? It's been like 8 months since you made the video.

  • @tiaraa3 mcdonalds cook, janitorial work, animal bath/cleaner, when i was in high school i worked cleaning parks for the city. there is plenty jobs where you dont have to deal with people.

  • Got a solution for you, Don't work with people if you cannot handle it. It's obvious you don't have very good people skills and should probably choose a different job.

  • @RckyIRL i have a solution for you. why don't you find me a job that will hire a student that is still in high school.

  • I hate it when something doesn't ring up and the customer says "Oh! Must be free!"

  • @YouLikeMyUsernameHuh Totally agree with this! So annoying!!

  • @YouLikeMyUsernameHuh Haha, I hear that everyday!

  • The one question I get asked a lot is: "where is the ladies' room?!"

  • Amen, girl. Amen.

  • "do you work here?" that never gets old...

  • Ur friggen hot. Are u in Melbourne?? If so, we gotta get together. U'll never need to work retail again.

  • 1.I hate when these rude customers just put their money on the counter and expect me to pick it up, when I visibly have my hand held out to receive the money.

    2. When customers coupon doesn't work and they have a fit and want to see the manger over 50 cents.

    3. When customers are on their cell phone.

  • I love it when I'm trying to stock an aisle and a customer decides that he or she wants to shop right where I'm working at. They'll literally walks past everything else in the aisle and stand right next to me and stare at where I'm stocking. I've gotten to where I ignore and keep working. My other thing is when the customer starts threatening me about how they're going to shop at our competitors. I'm thinking, "Go ahead! Your taking money out of my manager's bonus! Go nuts!"

  • Worked in GAME and I pretty much share my pet peeves with ya, Screaming Kids, messing up the Wii covers with the Xbox ones, people asking for refunds from a game they've opened...sure I like playing games myself but....customers are the same no matter where you work

  • Ur a bitch

  • @papercut272 You're* oh and thanks for making my views higher :)

  • Things that suck

    1. Women look for their wallet in their purse holding up the line.

    2. Women putting things back in their purse after they made their purchase holding up the line even more.

    3. Customers blame you for the high price.

    4. "That is not the price"

    5. "It was buy one get 1 free, why isnt it showing up" (Because you have to show your club card like it says on the sign!!!)

    6. Texting while paying

    7. Getting a 100 hundred bill for chips.

    8. Getting a 100 hundred bill in the morning

  • Retail fucking blows. I'm taking classes to better my career

  • I really understand you.I am work at Tesco.I had customer who send me fuck off..and diferent thing.its not easy job.thts true.

.But..I still like this job, because I learn many things.Like customer is customer..dont take very deep about this..And if some one is not nice,he slef not happy thats why he doing this.

  • So cute! Oh my!

  • It's funny how you "Hate working in retail" so much but in one of your comments about rude customers who "windge" about everything, you state that you feel like telling them to go and shop somewhere else.

What is holding you back from working somewhere else besides retail?

  • @MyTubeFavorites Well, lets say she doesnt get the jod she wants then what? no job,no money, atleast while she has a job she could work on finding a more stable that will provide her more money

  • @MyTubeFavorites When you are no more than a high school or college student, it's not easy to pick a job you love. I myself wanted to be a dental assistant because I am currently in college for dental hygiene school, but there is nothing available. Hence why retail was forced upon me. I need money until I graduate college at the very least. And retail would be a terrific job if people weren't so rude to the employees.

  • A few more,

    - People who ask you something just after you have already told them that infomation, They simply were not listning.

    - Quiet days where no one comes in, and all of a sudden 5 people walk in at the same time and become upset that they are having to wait for service because there is not enough staff.

    - The list goes on and on.

  • Hello and yep!!!! I agree alot with what you say! All of them in fact! Some more things to add to the list

    - After being flat out serving for hours, it becomes quiet and someone walks in and says: I see your quiet today!

    - The customer who just stands there after you tell them you cant help them. They just stand there with a stupid look on there face.

    - People who keep you back, the ones i realy hate is the tpye of person who keeps you back even after they acknowledged the fact!

  • im with tiaraa

  • Wow who could understand u better than the people who work in retail

  • You are very pretty!

  • Fortunately as of last Friday I no longer work in retail as I got a better job and had put in my two weeks notice and friday was my last day.

  • I love it when you go into different store wearing your own store uniform and someone obnoxiously wants your help, I simply relply.....F..off! then they go tell on you and are told that I don't work there.

  • i love your accent

and sorry i ask " do you work here " bcuz i dont always see your name tag SORRY gosh

  • I understand hun, and know exactly where you work, but I'll keep that a secret.

  • Hey gorgeous your lovely

  • I can totally relate to you in all aspects... I hate when customers don't buy a thing. I work in the shoe dept and me bringing out 10-15 pairs of shoes and they didn't buy a darn thing!!! They just came to waste their and my time. I also hate returns. I personally don't buy anything until i am 100% satisfied because i don't want to waste anyone's time, or i return something that is still under warranty and the merchandise is defective.

  • OMG I can sooooooo relate to #2. GOD I HATE THAT!!!! lol

  • i also work in retail and COMPLETELY understand where you're coming from! i just hate customers who just don't say anything when you say "hi how are you?" when they clearly look at you, the least they could do is say a simple "hi". one thing i really hate is when ppl ask "are you open?" when you're at a register with the light ON. i HATE that.... just among many many other things i hate about working there

  • @PAGaq29 hahahh i couldnt agree with you more!
