the teacher did feel the shock in the originial experiment. however, derren has changed a lot of the original experiment. for starters the experimenter was wearing a grey lab coat ...

I'm suprised they redid this. It was so contraversial the first time they did it, it was before psychology really had standards for experiments, but nowadays they do.

They changed this up alot. I also don't think they let the teacher feel the shock to gauge the pain in the original experiment.

they even used the same prods at the teacher as in the original experiment!
