The YouTube.apk won't load on the Archos 7 HT. It prompts "Choose a program" Also. The SD card is not recognized. Buyers please BEWARE of this product, Save you money and get an iPad. I just saw the BlackBerry tablet for $599.
I'm calling Archos 7 tech support, AGAIN, to try and get this thing working :-(

I bought my niece a $79 Sony mp3 player that plays YouTube saved video just fine.

Skyfire browser has alwyas been good for youtube and some other flash sites. The lack of it is not Archos' fault but something Android OS did not deliver with versions lower than 2.2. Where Archos could provide, but will not, is making sure their devices get updated.
I just bought the Archos 7 and I've learned that the Skyfire browser cannot play Youtube videos for many people now. I get a Media Error message. This youtube.apk is our last hope. It doesn't do full screen but it works. Hee hee!
Can you answer the question? Does this device SFW Flash content on the Web, if not, whether the Flash content appears in another web browser? Has GPS, FM Radio, or skype? Can I listen to music while I'm online or when I look at pictures?
