One question, Zanaffar if I remember right was fought in the first series as the last battle when it merge with copy rezo, and it was a hydra-like energy monster. SO WHAT UP WITH THIS THING? Is it whole another monster or a poor copy?
episode 13 explains that there is more than one Zanaffar, this one is basically like the budded spawn of the original and what Copy Rezo merged with may have been like a left over piece of the original as well.
this Zanaffar also refers to the Sairagg battle as a legend, like it wasn't there.
I need to correct myself. this new Zanafar was born from "Zanafar armor" that was on a woman named Gioconda who was eaten by the armor, Zannafar is a magical creation, not specific being, born from a special condition that was created originally by magicians in Saairag.
This Slayers season is a piece of shit. Every episode is soooo boring, the first ten minutes have nothing to do with the last ten. I usually don't know what the hell is going on.

So it was thing Rezo merge with was a splattered piece(s) and was either a unique aspect or conjoin pieces that become a hydra.
