@Be4urGone4Ever Technically yes, if you see the official timeline released by Nintendo a few weeks ago, it could be possible that in this timeline he's already dead.
@raggledy Yes counts, even with fairies. "Believe it or not Saving the game" also counts as a death for some odd reason. If you save the game, the next dungeon that you're due to visit a game will be added there. I came across this on a website way back in 2004.
When I played this for the first time on the snes, it made me imagine so much, to dream of being in a land far away, exploring...just the wonderful memories. They are among some of my most important ones...these childhood things.
I played this on my snes, with my father,it took me 3 or 4 months, hard game indeed but very good game,I was 5-6 years old, good, good memories, thx for upload ( sorry for bad english )
@Meshiku I know this is nitpicking, but... the title "Hero of Time" refers specifically to the Link from Ocarina of Time. This is a different Link, so while he is a legendary hero, he is not the Hero of Time specifically.
"And the Master Sword-- Sleeps Again...Forever" That's what I was thinking when I wore out my nunchaku for my Black Belt Demo (Taekwondo) I thought of the Master Sword Segment of this ending.
As awesome as Ocarina is, this is still my favorite Zelda game. I'd love to see this get a 3DS update similar to what Ocarina just got. At the very least hopefully Nintendo will re-release it in the '3D Classics' line.
Man, I miss this game sooo much! I still have the SNES but I don't know where this game went. :(
I remember my grandfather and brother would play it. Now, my grandfather has Alzheimer's disease and doesn't remember it and my brother got mixed in with the wrong crowd and doesn't care about this game anymore.
When I got to the part of the forest with the Master Sword in it, I was like: "I must kill the bunnies!!!!!" I was attacking the animals, then I stumbled apon the Master Sword and I was like: O.O
The music at the end gives me chills. Koji Kondo did an AMAZING job with the music at the end of the game when they show hyrule after gannon was defeated
Wow i must say i never played this one but i def will tommorow. I just have an emulator tho :( but this game looks amazing...and all the refrences i see to oot...wow. im getting chills lol
my favorite zelda ending. Koji Kondo did an excelent job with the music. i think this is the best because it show hyrule being better than ever, with Link's Uncle recovered, the bug catching boy in better health, ect.
@LinkedSnake I liked Oot more because it was the first zelda game to have 3D rendering and actually a really good story, not to say that link to the past didnt but it was my first game for the N64.
*shead's a tear of nostalgia* more then just a game but a journey that has captured the hearts of gamers and sticks with em for the rest of there lives. When most people talk about the best Zelda game they either talk about OoT or the NES game, no one ever says Lttp (and I cant help but feel that was partly due to the sonic fad in the early 90s, you know who you are) which is a real shame because its not just my favorite zelda game, its my favorite game of all time.
@Edgefox88 LTTP is my all time favorite Zelda game. To be honest it was the only one I had growing up as a child and it reminds me of playing it or watching my Mom and Sister play it all the way through. The music is just so beautiful and calming. I'll love this game forever
I just won this game again for the first time in like 2-3 years. I used to think this game was a bit overrated, but now I am understanding the subtle details of this game and now I think it's awesome. Of all the Zelda games, this one ends properly because after fulfilling all the legends and completing all the puzzles, you actually get the holy grail (the Triforce). Then immediately following, we see he did make noble wishes. And we get the most complete Zelda ending here!
@Scott89878 Can't disagree. I just finished it about 5 minutes ago (perfect ending again! Yay! \o/ ) and thought the same thing (and because I'm lazy and don't want to beat Ganon a second time today I just watch this video to see the ending again) :)
For some reason I hated Skull Woods. Maybe it was just the atmosphere or it was because of those annoying Wallmasters... To be honest, I don't know. I just hated it. Everytime I had to do it I was like "not again..." Anybody else who didn't like it?
@SlyGamer1000 I don't mind Skull Woods that much, I just played thru it on my file last night. Seems a lot of people complain about that dungeon though.
I still love listening to this lineup of themes - the Essence of the Triforce, the Wish of Link, and the Credit Roll. It's just so flowing and final and the credits in particular make a perfect last sound to hear before going to bed on any day.
Yea, the music is a quite emotional one that brings out the best in all of us, makes us happy, and just gives the good satisfaction of a peaceful ending, with more games to come.
