You do need the LORD JESUS CHRIST living in your heart in order to live the morals you've been taught. You need to be transformed from the inside out because the natural man is incurably wicked, selfish and proud. We must die to our sins and self and then be reborn in CHRIST JESUS. Then we can walk in the SPIRIT and GOD will enable us to be a true blessing to other people. This is the life that is pleasing to GOD. It is through the Bible that saving faith comes, that's why we need the Bible!
