I know it probably took a decent amount of time, skill and effort to build that plane but it looks like shit compared to some of the others I've seen on here. It's a decent vid and I'll give a thumbs up. It looks like fun to fly but I really like the jets. I wish I owned one.

I have seen this guy's video clip. A RC aircraft genius and possibly a club leader and a RC shop owner. Not many people can have such skill and knowledge to build a RC plane themselves. Also it will consume too much time to do it. And you need a personal workshop. People will not buy a RTF/BNF plane if they all build themselves.

Problem with this, i really want it, but it sucks because you gotta do all the measurements and cut out the pieces and you might end screwing it up, i rather buy a full scale model. This saves you ALOT of money, but it wastes you alot of time because of the building and you have you go out and spend more money on the electric parts.

no, it does not save you money to buy an ARF, and its not near as rewarding, and if you work with foam, its really not that hard to build a model, I prefer balsa, but building this Jet would be easy, you print out the drawings, tape them together, then cut out the pieces that are the same shape as the plans...

once you build a model from scratch, you will never go back, because its far from a waste of time, its fun to build, and rewarding to fly something that you built...
