Unusual "Snowball" Hail - Near Vernon, Texas - 4/12/09

I was born in Vernon... I remember one time we drove down there for here (wa state) and got to Tyler texas and got stuck in one of those! It was crazy as hell! Gotta be there to see it. Had to park our car in my uncles barn!!

'Soft' hail is quite common here in the UK during the winter and spring.

Mostly small, but a couple of years ago we had golfball hail that was exactly like this.
