I have not heard of anyone trying it however I wouldn't imagine it would be easy or very effective to set it up that way...

the thing is i want to buy the cartel and mount it on on an old burton rush board (with no ics) i think it can be done but i don't know if its going to work

just tried to make it work and its a not go, the inserts don't line up right with the EST mounts

no, but you can do the vice versa, regular bindings with an ics board.

After a religious riding career of 14 years, I gave up snowboards for last season and spent 50+ days on big fat skis. I rode one run on my friends 153 Custom EST setup and and was BLOWN AWAY by the surfy feel and control of the ride. Hopped right back into the park like I hadn't ever stepped away. I won't bother to buy or ride another snowboard setup unless it's EST 'period' It was everything!
