I have heard these sounds in Hilo, HI where I live. Hilo is not a strategic point to have any sort of presence, Alien or Military. Therefore I believe these sounds are a natural phenomenon(earth, space radiation, solar flares, you pick). I have heard them as recently as Feb 7, 2012 and at least twice before(sorry no exact dates). The sounds, if most are genuine, are not exactly the same as what I had heard, but similar, which would make a natural phenomenon a practical explanation as well.

Here in Dartford last Saturday night there was a sound that was so loud that it drowned out what I was listening to. I can only compare it to a jet fighter going overhead. I took a look outside and because it was cloudy I couldn't see a thing. There was a rumour that two fighter planes were seen chasing a large orange light a couple of miles away. Don't know how true it was.

I find this whole sound nonsense very odd. Loads of people are saying it is world wide with the only evidence of a video in their area. I know in Arizona, on that day, I did not hear that sound. But when some good friends of mine (trusted friends) tell me that they have witnessed these noises themselves where they live, then that convinces me that it is not a 'video hoax'. i.e. edited video with an extra soundtrack. I have heard sounds like this before. Thought the planes must be flying low, but couldnt see them for cloud. Once the noise was like a sonic boom and I thought a plane was going to crash out of the sky there and then, and it was scary and I look around to see if anyone else was hearing it, but they were all in there houses, but nothing happened and the noise faded away. @UKGSTV The sounds have been explained and debunked by scientists. The pole shifts have affected one of the poles which is in the North Atlantic Ocean. The result is the strange sound caused by the sea water hitting the earths crust hence the earth moaning. I think it is geological movement. Sound can be amplified by atmosphere and cloud. Ever heard an aircraft pass between the earth and a cloud base? you can hear the reverberation from the engines/s.

I live in the North East of England and these sounds were heard in Northumberland last week. I actually heard this sound last night, along with several "banging" noises. I thought it was just a hoax by youtubers with an audiofile, maybe many of them are, but now I'm not so sure.

@inwinblades There is no doubt that we all have to be wary of these stories. But when some good friends of mine (trusted friends) tell me that they have witnessed these noises themselves where they live, then that convinces me that it is not a 'video hoax'. i.e. edited video with an extra soundtrack. I actually thought about doing a hoax vid on this, just to show how easy it is to do! All you need is the camera and some good software.

I have heard sounds like this before. Thought the planes must be flying low, but couldnt see them for cloud. Once the noise was like a sonic boom and I thought a plane was going to crash out of the sky there and then, and it was scary and I look around to see if anyone else was hearing it, but they were all in there houses, but nothing happened and the noise faded away. And I thought, "Im being silly" "Its just a plane."

i tell u what i think mate. I don't know what the weather is like in UK this winter . I'm in USA Ohio on lake Erie. We have only had snow on the ground for less than 10 days this winter, and usually the ground is totally white with snow from thanks giving till march. So maybe the earth is moving? You know they have said that the pole is moving, they had to repaint the tarmac at Tampa international last year. So maybe the earths crust is moving south? not sure man. anyway cheers mate.

I agree with you and I said this last year that it appears that these UFOs often deactivate nuclear missiles and have been seen at Cheyenne Mountain, CO at their base and around Israel's nuclear base. Israel shot it down saying it was a hot air balloon but many witnesses said it was an UFO.

@UKGSTV The sounds have been explained and debunked by scientists. The pole shifts have affected one of the poles which is in the North Atlantic Ocean. The result is the strange sound caused by the sea water hitting the earths crust hence the earth moaning. It was proven that the noise was above normal hearing levels and amplified by the sound barrier across the world which amplified and echoed the original sound and those noises are the result.

The poles of the Earth are due to change and it's changing as we speak. The Solar System is passing closer to the center to the Milky Way than it has in millions of years. Only time will tell but I would like to hear it. I have talked to people and they are saying the Earth does make groans and stuff from time to time. If the poles are switching like they say they are maybe the sounds are more and more due to that. Very strange for sure!

Apparantly that Nottingham one is a fake as quite a few peeps have mentioned he is using audio from a movie but some of the others do sound a bit strange. I personally think it could be something that has just snowballed. obviously it being 2012 and everything I wouldnt be surprised if some friends in different parts of the world started it and its catching on. I think it is geological movement. Sound can be amplified by atmosphere and cloud. Ever heard an aircraft pass between the earth and a cloud base? you can hear the reverberation from the engines/s.

I live in the North East of England and these sounds were heard in Northumberland last week. Hundreds of people rang in to local radio stations and the Police, it's happening in the UK for an absolouite fact and i know it is!; even my parents were talking about it at the weekend and that's when i was telling them it's a world wide phenomena!!
