I HATE Macrovision!!! Whenever "Schindler's List" ends and the ending credits are rolling, the beautiful fabric of the film is broken when this dumb logo comes up.

At least it provides decent copy protection. I wouldn't say the logo's dumb, but it does look cheap. They probably had no budget, cause even on Blender 3D, I could make something better. (and I'm a noob when it comes to 3D.)

I LOVE how they call it "Quality Protection"- my TV's picture bends and darkens at the top of the screen when playing DVDs that use it, and the player isn't even hooked up to anything else! Luckily I found out how to disable it on my early-model player. The joke's totally on them too because the problem NOW isn't recording to VHS, it's making EXACT copies of DVDs with ZERO quality loss, but you can get rid of the Macrovision and button lockouts on the copy!

Macrovision has technology to prevent DVD ripping too, but there's ways around that if you know where to look :)
