  • "Getting people to accept serious violations to their health, safety and privacy is not going to help you or anyone in the long term." True. But Smart Meters, at least the models here in BC, are none of those. The problem is that people who don't understand any of the science behind RF waves believe non-arguments like yours without thinking for themselves and starting concerted, co-ordinated efforts to resist improvements our infrastructure which will save both energy and money.

  • @Six7Films "Improvements to our infrastructure?! Surveillance devices on our homes?! You are absolutely failing to see what is going on right in front of you. There is NO benefit to the customer whatsoever for digital metering and there are serious violations and hazards. Your comments are NOT useful, informed or appropriate on any responsible forum.

  • They didn't ask us if we wanted it :(

  • You always have the right to refuse service.

  • @TxSunMan812 No refusal needed. EMF emitting surveillance devices are illegal.

  • @TxSunMan812 This person, who seems to be associated with a "meter school" where students are taught how to conduct surveillance with electric meters, has taken to insulting the operators of this page. Insults are not hosted here, nor are arguments intended to cause people to give up their rights to heath and privacy.

  • This struggle with the power company is epic in California.

I remember listening to an activist in the San Jose in 1979.

Now we still pay 3x what cooperatives pay. Organize, people !

There IS always a scheme to increase profits.

My Silver Spring meter replaced one from 1967. My bill is the same.

We had a 100 year heat wave and tiered rates kicked in.

My meter reports hourly on the frequency our cell phones,

home phones, and police use. I've read the studies.

    The least of my worries.

  • He who angers you, owns you. Don't waste personal energy on self defeating anger toward abstract entity called "THE UTILITY". Stop feeling paralyzed into a demoralized state of inaction & self pity. Why not reverse the corporate presumption of implied consent - you know, that consent you never gave the post ethical utility to substitute microwave frequencies for shielded electricity? Legally notify corporate thugs, remove smart meter, replace w/ analog meter from freedomtaker. Easy peesy!

  • I just found out I have one on my house. It was done without my knowledge. I called southern calif edison and they said we didnt have a choice. I went insane. They said they can put you on a list to have it removed but most likely they wouldnt dont. Im so sick of this bullshit!!!!

  • When they come to my house I will make them watch this video before kicking their ass out of here

  • Thanks, it was very enlightening!!!

  • HOW DO WE GET THEM TOO REMOVE EM

  • @1sinwithme3 Send legal notice they are breaking the law. If they don't remove the digital meter you do it yourself. Details at freedomtaker (d'o't'c'o'm)

  • good.is/post/smart-meters-dumb-backlash/

  • @favabeens This author thinks it is time for you to stop paying for your energy consumption and start paying for your energy consumption BEHAVIOR. Corporate Bureaucrats will decide when and how you should use electricity and that will determine the charges on your bill. There will be no limit to what they can call "bad behavior". They can make themselves rich by calling you a careless energy consumer. You haven't seen "backlash" yet.

  • Is Chris Thompson not violating copyright laws...he seems to be back on here...enter his name and smart meters.

  • @MarilyK1 Yes, Chris Thompson likes to help himself to other people's content without their consent.

  • @MarilyK1 And the "fair use" provisions of the US Copyright act allow me to do it.

  • @Six7Films "allow me to do it"? Are you Chris Thompson? Apparently so. I never said "fair use" didn't apply. You have used someone else's content without their consent and without prior notice to them. That's disrespectful to content owners and shows a lack of ethics and integrity on your part. Your videos and arguments if they are valid, should be supported by the people who's material you use.

  • @minivanjack Yes, it's Chris Thompson. Your "Yes" answer to "Is Chris Thompson not violating copyright laws" seems to hint that you didn't think what I did was legal. Having to ask "Hi, I would like to use your [video, study, whatever] and point out how patently absurd what you're saying is" would mean that nothing would ever get debated. How would my arguments ever be supported by those on the opposite side of them?

  • @Six7Films There is a difference between "debating" and stealing content and/or using without permission. To people who are studying this issue, the idea of emitting cancer-causing radiation on private property and conducting surveillance on private homes by power companies is absurdly beyond anything that could be argued for as you are doing. Getting people to accept serious violations to their health, safety and privacy is not going to help you or anyone in the long term.

  • nice chat

  • great websitestopstopsmartmeters.ca

  • @ProfessorScience12 Thanks for that. We know and like that site.

  • The meter is unable to recognize individual devices in your house, unless you allow it access to certain products through the use of a special device.

  • @andrewel Wrong. Any device is recognizable by current draw profile.

  • @ChrisSheffUtd "The same" as a cell phone when cell phone streams are not pulsed high-energy density and smart meters are? We don't need your misleading techno-buzz here.

  • Comment removed

  • @ChrisSheffUtd Your PhD in wireless technology is not serving you. You are unaware of the pulsing high-energy radiation of the meters as distinct from cell phones and you are apparently unaware of the thousands of peer-reviewed studies showing that type of radiation to cause cancer, neurological injuries and illness and birth defects. You are apparently trying to discredit people who have no doubt of the dangers and problems with digital electric meters.

  • Comment removed

  • @ChrisSheffUtd You call cancer, birth defects and neurological injuries "side effects"? What institution is your PhD from? Are you associated with the power or meter industries? You claim personal credibility without identifying yourself. Please identify yourself and disclose your associations.

  • What if the people live in a apartment complex. Should we still send the letter to the company or should we go directly to the landlord with this matter?

  • @RestorationNowTimes If the landlord/property owner says "you have to have a digital meter" they become liable for all consequences. To avoid that they must support all your efforts to change the meter. First, give the landlord the chance to be on your side, but ultimately you will want to send notice to both.

  • What if the people live in a apartment complex. Should we still send the letter to the company or should we go directly to the landlord with this matter?

  • Just so you know. Utilities can tell if you have a grow house with monthly meter readings. One question for you that really puzzles me. How on earth can the meter or utility tell about your sexual activities?

  • @TxSunMan812 Smart meters record what room you are in, what appliance or device you are using and when you are using it. By looking at electrical usage over a few days or weeks, all activities and occupants could be identified.

  • what is unlawful surveillance? No one is restricting anyone to switch on their lights!! Who has so much time and effort just to check what you are doing at home? You are causing agony and fear, and nothing else! What I all request is, where did you get this Info that Smart Meters are health hazard? Do you have any reliable source, or are they just some non-sense blogs with mere Ideas?

  • @vidyasagarkantamneni The companies who make the meters admit they emit high-energy density pulsed electromagnetic radiation so the collected data can penetrate the houses and the occupants and reach the receivers. You did not know that? You need to catch up. This is the same type of energy delivery used in military microwave weaponry.

  • @vidyasagarkantamneni You have obviously done zero research. You haven't even read the posts here.

  • Very silly, I am working on my Bachelor thesis on smart meters, Smart meters are installed to revolutionize the way households consume energy. The research involved with Smart meters is on-going and all security issues are dealt very appropriately. There is no personal information broadcasted other than your electricity usage details. I pity, the ignorance of the people, who know least about technical Know-Hows and reasons and driving forces for replacing the old traditional inefficient meters.

  • @vidyasagarkantamneni You "pity the ignorance" of people who choose to protect their health and privacy? You are pathetically brainwashed and typically arrogant of power company PR agents. "Revolutionize the way households consume energy" Give me a break. It's called behavior modification ON TOP of cancer causing radiation and unlawful surveillance. Any further comments like that will be removed.

  • What? Only 1 Watt transmit power from a Smart Meter? My cell phone will go up to 2 full Watts and that's right next to my head. Guess we had better get rid of all cell phones while we are at it.

  • @FigherJockey Your cell phone does not emit high-energy-density pulsed radiation like a smart meter does. If it did you would probably be dead. And yes, cell phones do cause brain tumors, neurological illness and loss of cognitive function.

  • @FigherJockey I am convinced that idiots, like this guy, are reason enough to force You Tube to review EVERY vid PRIOR to airing. The Utility CEO's wanted this device for ONE reason- to lay off field meter readers! The Power Co's now can turn your service on or off and prepare your bill WITHOUT sending a PAYED employee to the location....THAT IS ALL!!! I bet this idiot sleeps with ALUMINUM foil wrapped around his head to shield from mind reading micro sensors!!!

  • @FunnyAsARubberCrutch In the U.K. they have no meter readers and never have. They call in their meter reading. It works fine. The power company can do random on-site checks. So the "lay off meter readers" argument is nonsense, you are the idiot, and all such future comments will be removed.

  • California is screwed! A smart meter was installed on my house with a voltage of 3Watts and I tried calling So. Cal. Edison to have it changed back and they said I am screwed! Won't change it because they "OWN IT" and it is their policy not to change it back. What recourse do I have??? NWO is here!

  • @houndjog It is your property. You remove what "they own" from your property. First, send them a legal notice of their violations giving them limited time to respond, Then, if they haven't replaced the meter do it yourself. Replacement meters and legal notice at freedomtaker (d'o't'c'o'm)

  • @minivanjack CHEERS! Just bought me a replacement meter for 65 bucks! Now I just need to send the letter out! Thanks again!

  • @houndjog - Just file a small claims lawsuit against S.C.E. and Corix. Claim you get headaches when you in a room near the smart meter. S.C.E will remove the meter rather then to go to court. Also because they remove the meter for medical reasons they will not charge you any extra monthly fees.

  • I just spoke to my power company and the rep stated I had only one choice to refuse the smart meter. I could opt out. Yet, she continued by saying "your request to opt out will be reviewed, but, most people end up with the meter". What kind of BS is that? It appears we have NO rights or any option but thiers! What if I lock my yard entry with a pad lock and put up "NO TRESPASSING" signs? Would that work??

  • @susie89434 Your power company lost all easement and right of access when they violated the law by emitting cancer-causing radiation on your property and conducting personal surveillance (they admit "monitoring" your activities). You must then dictate terms to them, reminding them of their violations. They may not threaten anything. You call the shots now.

  • I just spoke to my power company and the rep stated I had only one choice to refuse the smart meter. I could opt out. Yet, she continued by saying "your request to opt out will be reviewed, but, most people end up with the meter". What kind of BS is that? I appears we have NO rights or any option but thiers! What if I lock my yard entry with a pad lock and put up "NO TRESPASSING" signs? Would that work??

  • @susie89434 Send them a legal notice. Inform them the meter breaks the law and endangers your health and you refuse the meter. Let them know you will prosecute individuals who install any surveillance device. (Federal Wiretapping Title 18)

  • I opted out a month ago and so far have not heard anything about a 20.00 a month fee?

SOB's. thanks for the Video was very informative and I plan on posting the letter around the neighborhood, post office market etc. This is so wrong I have nothing to hide, I sure as hell don't need radio waves directed anywhere on my property my meter is on my bedroom wall out side and my neighbors metter points right at my bedroom.!! Too Orwellain

  • Thanks for the video & letting us use your letter!

  • I opted-out of a smartmeter and I am paying the monthly fee. If they take away the opt-out option, I will a mount a copy of the Constitution right above the smartmeter that will be held in place with a giant magnet.

  • @sixxtty I'd say go ahead with the magnet and the Constitution. You are paying again for something that you paid for already, but you are paying the second time to not have what you paid for the first time. Basically the "opt-out" is like throwing money down a drain and then using more money to rinse it down. I know they are not giving us any easy alternative, but this is getting ridiculous.

  • @sixxtty You're very fortunate that you were able to opt out. I was not permitted to opt out. I was not (and am not) happy about that at all. I've even considered moving, though it probably wouldn't do much good.

  • @mommybear4mybabies "Not permitted"? You don't ask, you tell. Send them a legal notice of violation, then if they don't replace the meter, replace it yourself. Kits available with analog meter AND legal notice at freedomtaker (d'o't'c'o'm).

  • You better be raising a fit about this people - in unison. This is just horrible. If there is anyone who doesn't think there's something very very wrong with this there's a word for people like you: SHEEPLE. And here's some advise for you: WAKE UP!

  • They're putting smart meters on your water and sewer usage also.

And to the "wit" who said that if you aren't doing anything wrong, you shouldn't worry: What a naive, trusting dolt you are. The biggest Mafia, totally uncontrolled Mafia is the Government Mafia. Big Brother isn't interested in protecting you but in controlling you. As for wiretapping being illegal . . . well, not for long. The Badged Criminals will rewrite the laws to make it legal, the way they are rewriting the US Constitution.

  • Now they threaten customers by telling them it will be $20 a month to have an analog meter

  • invading of privacy

  • Wow. It's not that he's necessarily wrong, but that he's raising issues about "legality" for people breaking the law, which to me is slightly biased. If you aren't breaking the law, why do you care? And if your power company should ever sell your power consumption information, then you have a legal recourse (as you would with any vendor who did the same).

  • @WildfireTech Selling your information is legal if they have legally collected it. Federal wiretapping law (Title 18) prohibits the surveillance in the first place. They are spying on you. If you don't mind that, fine, you can open your house to whoever you want. Most people do not wish for their power company to collect personal data about their living habits and the law says the power company may not do that. You have to invite them for it to be legal.

  • @WildfireTech You must be joking. You like the government knowing about when you are home, away, when you have guests or not guests, when you wash clothes, etc. You must work for the government. This big brother collecting data about you and eveyone else. What don't you get about that being illegal!!!!

  • @WildfireTech "Legal recourse" get serious. So you are one of those pretzel-logic people who think "law abiding citizens have nothing to hide" so no need for privacy protection of any kind for anybody makes perfect sense. So, since you have nothing to hide would you please post the login to your online banking here? Why not share what medications you use? You have nothing to hide, right?

  • OMG... this is frightening. Thank you for your information, I will pass the word.

  • How come they get to charge us to change it back!!!? As a CARE recipient they charge me $10 to change it and then $5 a month to have the analog meter.

  • @jananbanana77 They don't get to do anything unless we let them.

  • @minivanjack i wrote a letter to the Ca Public Utility Commission as PGE said that they were the people responsible for making the fee decisions that affect those of us who want to OPT OUT. It was a complaint form online. What else can I do?

  • @jananbanana77 The CPUC recently decided the power companies should be paid to not violate you. That is absurd. The CPUC thereby proved they are not your friend or advocate, they are lapdogs of power industry profiteers. If your power company attempts to violate you and the law they must be told, by you, they may not do that. More at freedomtaker (d'o't'c'o'm)

  • @minivanjack thx so much jack.i have found sites and have called again and have a complaint it at PGE about the fees. She[CSR] also said if I try to change it myself [per your site ref] that would constitute 'tampering' and it is illegal for me to do that. I don't want to do it myself per se not get arrested b/c I am a single mom and I wouldnt do that to my kid, but thanks for the info.I am still outraged about this public raping of us and will continue to fight against it from home.

  • @jananbanana77 You are not "tampering" if you inform them they are violating the law and give them a limited time to give you an analog meter. If they continue to violate the law then you are not tampering, you are defending yourself. Notice to them makes all the difference. Don' let them intimidate you like that, they are acting like thugs. Take charge. Documents are available at freedomtaker (d'o't'c'o'm), but you can write your own demand for removal too.

  • @minivanjack yah i have signed up for the OPT OUT program and they said they will remove it but cant say when. they are very busy removing them! i couldnt pin her down, but it seems 1-2 weeks is the time frame.

  • @minivanjack i also have called/emailed and written to fight the fees they are charging for replacing it and also the monthly fees they are planning to charge for having to 'come out and check the meter'.

  • Where is the letter? I went through pages of comments and never did see it! Can the person who posted the letter repost it please?? Thank You!

  • @2003phylis Right below the video, click on the words "show more"

  • @minivanjack Thanks so much! I downloaded both the video and the letter. How do you link them? I would like to do that as well. I downloaded them separately. Thanks for all your help!

    Phylis

  • So now the government will know when I use my wall powered vibrator???

  • @vta1985 They will know when, and what room you are in.

  • @minivanjack When, where and for how long.

  • @vta1985 i think they will know even if its battery operated! LOL i know... i was thinking this too! no privacy GEEZ!

  • I'm sorry I'm not sure I understand what you mean by electric consumption volumes? Just curious, does it mean the amount of electric consumption? Still a kid.....

  • @MusiicKiing "electric consumption volumes" - the amount you use "and patterns" - what you use it on.

  • Thank you for the excellent video and letter. I'm sending the link to all my friends. We must stop this hideous intrusion into what's left of our privacy and autonomy. Big Brother is here, and we know what he looks like.

  • They are connected to the company's own wifi box, installed when box is installed....and the signals are very strong, having made people sick.

California's power co. removed them after many complaints concerning health.

They also kill plant life anywhere near them.

  • Yeah, Kill you

  • If you live in Texas, you buy your electricity from BILL GATES who owns Cascade Investment which owns PNM Resources which owns Texas—New Mexico Power Company which is forcing all its customers to switch to so-called Smart Meters which is a Big Brother system which monitors and controls every aspect of your household. BILL GATES IS WATCHING YOU!

  • Well that's pretty interesting thanks for posting that. I think I'll write a letter now.

  • i like the new world order, we lose rights every day woohooo freeedoommm

  • @bushbasher46 The smart meter uses the wiring in your home to communicate with "smart appliances". Your computer is a smart appliance. "Creepy smart meter language" on YouTube shows what I'm talking about.

  • i have one of these smart meters i plug in a brand new computer from walmart into power plug turned my computer on it started to download a bunch of files onto my computer how can this happen because i have no internet yet and these files are being downloaded so i plugged my computer into a generator turned my computer on i found that my bois was flashed I found work station and dialers and lots more files that should not be on a new computer

  • @bushbasher46 That sounds like a trip back to Walmart for a refund. I have not heard of Smart Meters doing that. I don't think it is even possible for them to send data to your computer through the AC line. If that actually happened we would love to know about it.

  • @bushbasher46 The first thing any new computer that picks up Wifi does is to automatically upgrade. Could be picking up Wifi from a neighbour Could be open box/return Could be a display model, Or someone who works at the store used it. Work station & dialers are software that can covertly dial a modem access number without you knowing, but only the malware or virus kind do bad things. Windows will automatically upgrade if you inadvertently are getting a wifi feed. I agree, take it back.

  • Can you please show a removal letter too for all the illiterate folks? I appreciate it. Be safe, well and aware.

  • @spiritprofessor We'll do even better. Get the letter, a template and instructions in an instant download for $6 at FreedomTaker (d'o't'c'o'm') (scroll down).

  • @minivanjack How bout Commercial Liens, do you know anything about these wonderful weapons of commercial destruction. My dad worked for a nuclear plant for 37 yrs, he's now got dementia, he's still there but now he's extra afraid due to his company hired a private investigator to spy on my folks. There are 22 pages and 16 cd's of info. This PI recorded and spied on my dad, mom, my brothers, probably me, my aunt, took pics of my dad peeing. I'm going to rape this company and the PI!

  • @aphoolimnaught I did a lot of research and became informed through people and sites like Joshua Hart, minivanjack, eon3, magdahavas, Dr Zory Glaser, Dr George Carlo, Cindy Sage, justproveit, antennasearch, stayonthetruth, Barrie Trower, BioHarvard University "Inner Life of a Cell" and so many more. I sent quite a bit of info and my story to the media. I also contacted a lawyer to begin a class action lawsuit. I have fought for my life on this issue.

  • @aphoolimnaught I have tried using aluminum foil for an antenna on a police scanner and it does not work. The aluminum actually hurts the reception. Microwaves and radio waves seem to react differently. Microwaves penetrate concrete while radio waves do not. I believe I have seen people use aluminum for an antenna on an old radio? Try covering your cell phone with aluminum foil that is not grounded. The signal is blocked.

  • @aphoolimnaught I personally no longer have a smart meter. The high levels of rf coming from a couple of the outlets located on the opposite side of the meter in a 4500 sq ft home led me to the conclusion that the smart meter was using the wiring to communicate with smart appliances. I live close to a cell tower and use aluminum foil on the walls, that is not grounded, to reflect high levels of microwave radiation. It does not use the aluminum foil as an antenna.

  • @2011so5 Can I ask what you had to do to get rid of a smart meter? Swedish articles confirm that smart grid frequencies have an affinity for & do couple w/ any wiring, even in a off grid house. There are lists on line to check brand & model numbers of appliances that are "chipped". Some have labels saying they are "smart grid compliant".

  • The purpose of smart meters is to limit energy use. Remote shut off of heat & air conditioning for varying periods of time on a daily basis net the private sector of corporations a lot of savings. These are not YOUR savings. They are THEIR savings. Time of use billing at 3 to 4 times per kilowatt for 14 hrs a day & charging you to steal your information for resell of collected personal data to insurance companies, marketing companies etc, make utility corporations a LOT of money. Trillions.

  • for those of you in Texas, we have a good website with Action items and petitions etc. Please go and check it out. There is also a page with bumper stickers you can order and advertise to Ban Texas Smart Meters - join the cause! go to the same- bantexassmartmeters c o m

  • I am having excellent results using aluminum foil to deflect cell tower and wifi microwave pulses. Grounding is not needed when using aluminum. I am using a Gigahertz Solutions HF38B to check my work. I am getting high levels of rf radiation from outlets. The smart meter uses the wiring and the outlets. You will have to shut the breakers off when you sleep.

  • @2011so5 If you continue to get high levels of radiation from outlets I am not sure I understand how this represents an excellent result? You say grounding is not necessary. How did you arrive at that conclusion, if you don't mind sharing the info? Is it possible that failure to ground the foil may continue to be part of why your house wiring is still continuing to function as a fractal antenna coupling with & carrying smart meter frequencies throughout the house?

  • I tried to go to the website noted to order my meter replacement kit but am having trouble as the link to purchase takes me to a page that cannot be displayed. Any ideas? Since I already have one installed, is there a site or location that I can just get the "notice for removal" document mentioned?

  • @elitedefense72 There are some third-party links not working. You'll get the order page at FreedomTaker (d'o't'c'o'm'). The notice will be there soon, downloadable for $5.95.

  • Thank you for this video! I stopped the Electric Co just minutes ago from installing one on my house, and they are blowing up my phone as I type! God Bless you!!!!

  • Where is the letter located he mentions at the end?

  • @Windwheeler Right below the video. Click on "show more".

  • No, not cameras on them, but the data is very "informative"...

  • Is there a legal way to block the signal coming out of these meters?

  • @teamstermancollier Yeah... wrap it up with tin foil. At least that's where I would start.

  • @teamstermancollier Flexible multi layered foil is good, just ground whatever U use. An old abandoned smaller sized parabolic shaped satellite dish with an opening enlarged in the centre of it big enough to fit over the meter but snug to the meter collar would work as a smart meter house wall shield, then a few layers of mylar house insulation (bubble wrap sandwiched between 2 layers of flexible aluminium foil) wrapped across the front of the dish saves pollinators, navigators & our food supply.

  • @aphoolimnaught Yes, the bees would be saved, but would that not reflect the EMR INTO the house?

  • @minivanjack I forgot to mention shielding the entire interior of the meter wall w/ foil/bubble wrap insulation. However, the meter is a bi-directional transmitter/receiver. As I understand it, when the meter's totally wrapped it ceases to transmit or receive signals. No signal, no radiation. There's a one month capacitor for memory The utility will show up much sooner, often the same day. Keep on wrappin'. They simply lack the manpower to keep coming out & often give up & send a meter reader.

  • @aphoolimnaught My understanding is that when the signal is blocked the meter tries MORE to transmit. That is how wireless devices generally work. It would have no reason to cease transmitting.

  • @minivanjack Thermoguy {dot} com says that a smart meter which is totally wrapped w/out so much as a pinhole left for it to still transmit will not transmit or receive. I certainly found this was true when I tested a cell phone, unwrapped and able to send & receive, then immediately fully wrapped & not able to receive.

  • @aphoolimnaught Make sure and plug that last pinhole because that meter that cannot transmit or receive will be TRYING to transmit and receive like crazy. When it fails to connect it does not give up trying, it tries again, and again, and again, etc.

  • @minivanjack Not as I understand it. No input= no output. Sadly, the frequencies blanket the entire ecosystem anyway, whether used by the meter or not. Bees are hooped, That means so are we. The biggest smart grid paradigm shift made is this: Despite the Weight & Measures Act, utilities now charge us for the energy they GENERATE, not the energy you USE. This means WE ARE BILLED for VAST wastage that goes to ground & dissipates all along transmission lines. Illegal in Canada. How about in the US?

  • @aphoolimnaught Power companies are not permitted to divert or discharge excess electric potential to the ground in the U.S.

  • @minivanjack A smart meter reads everything that comes to a dwelling, whereas an analog meter only reads energy that is used. This is proven by those w/ cottages where water is drained from pipes & electricity & gas are shut off for one or more seasons, yet owners still receive bills, often for hundreds of dollars.

  • @whoremonky15 No cameras to my knowledge, they are similar to a camera in that they record and transmit personal behavior by logging time and day of appliance and fixture use.

  • @minivanjack The signal enhancing relay aggregators on the utility poles are the companion pieces to the meters & are definitely camera & audio ready for police use. First generation s/meters are not camera ready but use frequency graphing & spectrum analysis to "know" every single electricity based activity w/ remarkable accuracy, right down to light assessment for differing brands of TVs & analysis of frequency patterns for different broadcasts. So in a sense they get to watch what you watch.

  • what if u buy a house with one already installed

  • @specialformula14 Send a notice of violation and demand removal. The notice is included with the meter replacement kit at freedomtaker (d'o't'c'o'm) and will soon be available there as a separate item for download.

  • It's a terrible thing. How did we loose our rights. Slowly things are creeping into our lives and Big Brother has arrived. (For those who don't know who big brother is read a great fictional book with the title 1984. Is it still fiction?) BTW not only is it illegal surveillance but also a severe heath hazzard. You may as well live under a high wire tower. I know of only one thing to protect us. energizeddiva@gmail.com

  • @energizeddiva Usually people don't simply "lose their rights". The give them away, incrementally.

  • Can you imagine a murder trial:

"Where were you on the night of the murder?"

"I was at home brushing my teeth, check the smart meter data, it proves it."

The meters can't tell who is doing what. If you're worried about surveillance you should be more concerned with your cell phone record and your banking data, that's a lot more personal. How come nobody is making scary videos about that?

  • @evildanhebert In most cases the meter data easily reveals who is doing what. As far as banking data, cell phone records, medical records etc. Yes, why would you allow those records to be shared? Smart Meter data is worse of course because it is not voluntary and your location is precisely revealed along with your activities in your home 24/7.

  • @evildanhebert Clearly you are not aware of frequency graphing, which fine tunes what you are using & doing & when you do it. Even virtually obsolete first generation smart meters can observe which TV shows are being watched & which websites we go to, can surmise when you are on vacation, when you sleep, when you are not home. Ethical hackers just revealed this & more in Germany.

  • Think that's bad? Now auto insurance companies want to install a gizmo on your car that will tell them exactly how you drive at all times.

  • @alix0657 In Britain, thanks to the EU politburo, driving, like private property, is about to be redefined as a "privilege & the "authorities" decide who gets to own property or drive at all. Ban on cars over 10 years old. The rest must use RFID transit cards. Energy rationing debit cards (called "public credit cards"- ha!) will be used, only allowing cashless transactions + Severe (worse than SOPA) limits on internet & licensing requirements for permission to use internet (who can, who cannot)

  • Wow, thank you for spreading this awareness.

  • "if they do that it'll no longer be Americ(K)a!" ....truthfully the Americ(K)a you thought existed never existed in the first instance, at least I don't believe it did. Now? G.U.A.R.A.N.T.E.E.D. not to exist. Fuck Fascism, fuck U.S.S.A.

  • People are trying to stop the roll out but the Government has said that as they have spent so much money they do not want to withdraw from installing them. There have been alot of people moving houses due to radiation giving them headaches & general sickness on adults & children.

  • @Model007 Funny how far people will bend over backwards & retreat or run to avoid learning & using their rights. There is no mandate for smart meters. It is voluntary. The utilities are bluffing & people are allowing themselves to be cowed and harmed by bullies using illegal tactics.

  • @Model007 Utilities are playing a familiar game. TOO BIG TO FAIL. It costs twelve to twenty times more than the cost of meters to build out the smart grid. Meters are barely the beginning of the costs, all fully funded by tax "serfs". Privatization of profits, socialization of costs & losses. Christopher Hitchens was so right. That is how you know you are living in a banana republic. That & when corporations become indistinguishable from government. A marriage made in fascist heaven.

  • They are compulsory in Australia now but I keep refusing them to install it.

  • @Model007 The global synchronicity of the Smart Meter rollout is a major tip-off of who is behind it.

  • Don't worry -- my life will bore them to death in no time flat.

  • @giddalti Please keep us posted on the slaughter.

  • @minivanjack Ho, ho! They're dropping like flies; I've already lost count.

  • If anyone would like to know what kind of damage these meters are doing, I would suggest a simple door to door neighborhood survey. I believe you will be surprised at the results. Women seem to be affected more than men.

1.Proximity of smart meter to where the subject sleeps.

    2. Male or Female?

3.Waking up at the same time at odd hours?

    4. Frequent headaches?

    5. When did the symptoms start?

  • Who said ingenuity's dead? Maybe there should be weekly kudos for the most creative smart meter installation tamper proof deterrent systems? One secure system used plasma cut & welded old angle iron bed frame, used a voltage meter & counter sunk w/ giant bolts, then installed a surveillance cameras w/ night vision & added a surrounding (NO contact with the meter!) electrified solar operated garden pest deterrence system. Gives a whole new meaning to "solar" "power", no? Is that green or what?

  • @aphoolimnaught @aphoolimnaught Fantastic. Think about it. We are having to do high-tech barricading against the institutions that are supposed to be "serving us". That dark future that sci fi writers have told us about is now here.

  • The question is can it be confirmed that the police are using this data, do they have the right to use it, are they using it without a search warrant, How do they acquire this information?

  • @Darkthoughts01 The relationships between police, power companies and local governments are different in every local jurisdiction. In some areas, police are given free use of utility data. The threat with Smart Meters is that the data is very invasive, personal and "high resolution". It is not data that should be collected in the fist place, much less shared with anybody.

  • misnamed .. should be called NARK METERS! =\

  • @dschou2003 now you can sit at home on the couch in your underwear collecting an unemployment check. Great... Smart meter has got your thinking all screwed up.

  • Put a jammer on the signal or wrap your meter with tin foil!

  • @rhgrafix If you are going to wrap a smart meter, remember to ground the foil (preferably Reflectix mylar insulation with bubble wrap sandwiched between two foil sheets) Ground the foil to an outside source, a rod in the ground, not part of your house structure. Otherwise you may actually INCREASE the EMFs frequencies.

  • @rhgrafix Actually there is truth to the idea of fighting fire with fire, so to speak. One might jam & defeat a signal frequency w/ a stronger & differing frequency. But how risky would that be? Jammers & microwave weapons are illegal in Canada. Old used microwave oven doors might be usable as a meter shield though, who knows?

  • WTH you need a business license to run a sever in you house. 2:37

  • @ByNatureFarms If you aren't running a business, you don't need a business license even if you are running a big azz sparkie.

  • @dschou2003 There is no safe level of pulsed electromagnetic microwaves on the biological side. Yes they don't burn you according to "caveman science". I don't know of anyone that uses a cell phone or microwave oven when they sleep. The meter sends pulses through your body 24/7 and you can't turn it off. So many people I have talked to now have headaches and insomnia. It all started after the meters were installed. "microwave sickness"

  • you get more radiation from microwaves and cell phones.

  • @dschou2003 Not true. The meters emit pulsed (high energy density) radiation. And they do collect and deliver data about the occupants private activities. You need to do some research.

  • I work with an electric company and everyone who thinks the smart meter is bad is just crazy. It is related to smart appliances. If you don't have smart appliances it just does what your old meter does but digitally. I was once a meter reader and it's so hard dealing with dogs, locked gates, businesses and apartments. It makes life so much easier and it can be read from the office instead of that reader coming out to read the meter. Digital meters do have a slight radiation but you get more

  • @dschou2003 so your saying there are less jobs now. great idea lets make it so there is even more unemployeed

  • @jmtomes2001 The video does not discuss employment issues. By the way, is it important to protect the jobs of death camp guards?

  • Comment removed

  • @jmtomes2001 We had them in High School. They called them "Hall Monitors"
