What is that brown/gold paint you put on the painting, and why do u use it? Great painting, by the way!! :)

@minylinny78 It is antiquing gel and I use it to show the crackle effect that I put on previously. Crackle effect has two steps. First you cover the painting with crackle, let it dry and when the cracks are formed you paint it with the antiquing brown medium and wipe it off. The medium penetrates the cracks and it has an old finish that I love

Thank you Jennifer! I put the camera on my drawing table pointing my painting. It is an upside down movie but then I flip it horizontal and then vertical.

I was tired of getting my hand in front of the camera.

Awesome! I love crackle effect. Make sure not to overwork the crackle and let it dry for 4 hours before the antiquing gel :)
