This has helped me improve so much. 3/4 was difficult for me to jam to but after a few weeks of playing around to this backing track my playing has improved more than i could have ever asked for! Kudos to the uploader!
ive been improvising blues for the past few days and ive been on many backing tracks which after a while its kind of te same thing (its fun but its getting old) then i found your vid and it is probably the best backing trck ever btw it really sounds like pink floyd
thanks for the awesome vid and sry for my lame language
could someone help me with this theory. I'm looking at the description. Isn't the aeolian mode of Bb: gm? And also, F dorian is G?
I'm kinda new to these modes. I know the pattern for the major scale over the whole neck. I know it divided into 7 patterjs, and those are the modes.. correct? So F dorian is just the 2nd pattern of the F Major scale? G?
@Biake22 G Minor is the relative minor of Bb Major. The Dorian mode in F Major would be G Dorian. I think you have a pretty good understanding of modes
@zEsker yea its almost the same progression except that c dominant 7 chord in the verse..but that makes improvisation for interesting since u can play lots of G dorian on that...very nice :)
Thanks so much for the backing track dude!! I just posted my improv to it on my channel if you want to check it out. I love constructive criticism. Thanks again dude. Happy Jammin!!!
@RockOutBaltimore - Good Improv, Nice Soul. Now that you've got the upper end of the neck going well, I would recommend coming up with some down n' dirty riffs in the open range, (frets 0-5), using the open d and g strings as leverage.

I love this track, it gives that space in the rhythm that is SOOOO much fun to just let loose in, or to hit some massive bend (which i prefer).
