  • the guy plays john mayer, he automatically becomes awesome :D

  • dont make a review of something if you cant speak english no offense, which year is which i have no idea???

  • There's more differences between maple and rosewood, than between Fender & Squier. : )

  • Both guitars (50's 60's) have their own sounds! (maple, rosewood, pickups etc)

    BUT:

I play Fender Strats and i play Squier Strats and:

It's no blush to play a Squier. Genuine!

    I love my Fender's and i love my Squier's!!

By the way, this guy rocks!

  • 60 is much bigger sound on stage

50 on stage will become just a background of the band

  • ไอ้ฝรั่งโง่ You know thai?

  • sabai di cup

    ki yo hong kur

  • hi... what amp do u use??

  • What's the fuck ! I don't understand anything !

  • @nrajgn OMG THERE'S ONLY ONE LANGUAGE IN THE WORLD OMG

  • I think he's try to communicate...

  • To my ears the 50s sounds better

  • @gacktology yeah..

  • 60's definitely has balls, thick, edgy sound. It bites. 50's is a nice girlie, elegant and delicate, glassy and light. Leasure time instrument.

  • นางเอกSUCKSEEDใช้รุ่น60'sนิ

    5555

    ไปซื้อมาใช้มั้งดีกว่า^^

  • i may not understand his language, but i understand the music. i tried the 60's model today, and i am very impressed with it. defiantly going to consider it for a next guitar.

  • Did anyone notice the main difference in the sound....and what is the difference in the makes....thanks

  • Mudù,Barreto coi capelli lunghi!!!

  • Thank you for the review. Great playing! It's ashame that smartass kids have nothing better to do than criticize other people. They wish they could play like you do.

  • @stegler73 are*

  • @stegler73 not any more dude; here is the new bench mark for Squiers set by these classic Vibe Strats that kick ass for a very low price... I own an SRV signature. These Squiers rate in terms of the wiring of pickups. Same as the SRV with noiseless 2nd and 4th position. The finish is fantastic! Pickups- they have Alnico III's in the 50's Model and Alnico V's in the 60's Model. The same as in the higher priced Fenders. $2999.00 up and same woods! Might pay to do you homework next time...

  • Lookee here Ghangis, I cant undertstan yu, whut cuntree you from aneeweys?

Ignorance aside - great playing! Good demo!!!

  • tching tchong thing rien compris ...

  • u played neon wrong...

  • 50's

  • what's the main differences between the 50's and the 60's?

  • @miguelpessanha91

The 50's has alnico 3's & a glossed maple fretboard, the 60's has alnico 5's and a rosewood fingerboard. The 60's has a little bit rounder sound. and the 50's has a more clear and tiny bit brighter sound.

  • @pacrat90 got it, thanks mate!

  • Man, Thai girls are so hot especially when they are rocking out on guitar.

  • @olaftheholy xD

  • I bought a 60's model today! Tried a hw1 v v nice to play but the finish is urgh! The special was nicer but uninspiring and pricey. The deluxe player was dead! Then tried this and couldn't justify the extra money as it was so good! beautiful neck rolled f/board excellent f/work,beautiful s/burst finish stable trem and reasonable(but replacable!) pickups. It's up there with JV's! My usa deluxe is a bit zingier but 4x the price! v v close! The chinese have got there! Top pro quality! Amazed haha!

  • the 60's sounds much better to my ears. The pickup are just better, higher output and clearer

  • 60s... i think... i dont know! ahhhhhh

  • Nice John Mayer cover at 2:32 ;)

  • @reech4nineteen Which song is that?

  • @filipequintas The Song Called: Neon.

  • 2.54 blue strat tortoise shell pickguard and rosewood fretboard

  • Top playing, great sounding guitars, cuts though any language barrier ;)

The '60s model does sound a bit more rounded, while the '50s version has a slightly more cutting, percussive character. The white '50s version just looks like nothing else as well.... not like any other Strat. Unless you're David GIlmour....

  • I greatley prefer the 50's model CV. Has a much more classic sound :)

  • @EugenVittorelli

We know that, but all guitars don't sound the same !

When you're looking for a certain tone, some will be better than others.

  • The 50s model can be made less bright and more rounded by fitting a brass block, brass nut, and changing the pots and caps. Of course, a pickup change would help too.

  • nice playing.. the 60's version is more rounded sounding and sounds more flexible

  • Do these match up to the standard fenders?

  • what......did.....he......say

  • @omnipotent1995 twa tjing too too bla twa guitar???........ It doesn't matter, they both soud very nice!

  • @omnipotent1995 He said that everyone in the world don't all speak American. :D

  • i bought the 60's and wow! i fell in love with that guitar immediatly *.*... you get an amazing guitar for nearly every genre, so everyone who think about getting a new guitar, go and get the 60's CV :D

  • DO THE SAME VIDEO BUT with a VALVES AMP PLEASE! You play well but with a transistor amp it sound bad.

  • This is my favorite video to demonstrate the potential and playability of the classic vibe strats. Well done! 10

  • he's got ninja weapons hidden within the guitar so watch out

  • wich one is better for punk-rock, but surf-rock too?

  • @beachnut82 I would prefer the 50´s for punk-rock

  • hey guys i bought classic vibe 50's strat..its amazing guitar..the best of the squier series...

  • do you think this is a good first electric guitar?

i play guitar for half a year

    do you recomend this?

  • @Hemorraghe Oh yes. For this money you get an excellent guitar for a long, long time.

  • jammimg !!

  • omg its jackie chan

  • @metallicaboy96 Racist bastard. You think your funny? You just try to be funny by making racist comments. Proves your not funny

  • @SlashWorshipper1993 calm down u PC pussy its just a joke he wasnt being racist

  • @SlashWorshipper1993 just cos ur on the internet doesnt give u the right to be racist the truth is ur racist because ur parents are fucking douches who are ignorant and racist and pass their bad mannerisms onto u fuck faces wat is the point ? fucking racist twats go on live in a multicutural society and get out of ur bubble of ur own race

  • @gozondor How the fuck am I am being racist? I was sticking up for the guy? Fail

  • @SlashWorshipper1993 soz ii misread i just cant stand racist ppl

  • @metallicaboy96

    omg you're a racist dick-bag

  • oh my god what a tone, the whitish guitar is gorgeous :)

  • @Rozq87 You're right, the tone is fat as hell. The 60's strat looks better, but the 50's is even more authentic sounding.

  • @atheniandp the 50's look is based on the 0001 strat, the first strat to ever have a serial number ( not the first made though) owned by david gilmour

  • jhahaha., this is chatreeo´s brother

  • is this guitar noisy?

  • @glthebest every guitar with single coil pickups is ''noisy''

  • Well if they wanted to base the 50's classic vibe on the EJ maple fretboard model they could have worked a lot harder.... Not a bad guitar for the money, but the EJ sig is probably the best instrument rolling out of the US Fender factory. I still believe the 60's classic vibe does appear to inspired by the John Mayer Sig model.... On top of looking almost identical, the guitars sound very close.. different neck radius and other minor details seperate them. As usual you pay a premium for US labor

  • My comment was that it appears these classic vibes are based on the Eric Johnson sig and the John Mayer sig Strats, having said that there are quite a few differences that set the real Fender's apart. Quality of materials, neck radius, fret dressings, quality of factory setup. Pups in 50's classic vibe are great for jazz.. pups in 60's idea for blues. Both excellent guitars for the price

  • Also they aren't really based on those models as much as they are more based on 50s and 60s strats, as the EJ and JM are. 2tone sunburst was pretty much the stock color of strats in the 50s and 3tone was the stock color of the 60s. In fact fender painted all the guitars sunbursts and just painted the solid colors over the sunburst

  • Thanks... 60's model has Alnico 5 pups (same as SRV & John Mayer sig models) 50's has Alnico 3 pups.. same as Eric Johnson sig, except Eric Johnson model has a different neck radius, different body wood, and his bridge pickup is Alnico 5 (note: on his new 2010 EJ signature models the fretboard is rosewood and all pups are Alnico 5...they just sound better as this video clearly demonstrates) . One note on these guitars, the setup is inconsistent. You will to spend time or money on setup

  • Well the EJ s made out of Alder isn't? These are made out of 2-3 pcs of Alder. I don't think the Alnico 5 sound better, just different. I have a JM sig CS 65 and a couple of other guitars with Alnico 5s and I like the sounds I get with my A3 CV 50s

  • Yes and maple neck EJ Fender model ($1800) is a much finer quality instrument. The neck radius, solid wood, factory setup, quality of finish (I could go on) separate it from the 50's classic vibe that is loosely based on it... IMO the 60's classic vibe is closer to the John Mayer sig Fender ($2000). If you blind folded me I might not be able to tell the diff if the 60's CV Squire had a proper setup :)

  • I don't think so I have a JM sig and at one point owned a CV 60s, they feel and play nothing alike. and of course the EJ is a better instrument but you said the woods are different, which isn't true, they both are Alder. If you had said the wood quality is better in the EJ I might have agreed with you, but the CV is solid Alder too ( The EJs are 2-3 pieces too, they just don't make 1 pcs outside of the custom shop). Also all of my CVs have been set up perfectly out of the box

  • classic vibe 60 all the way i LOVE this guitar

  • Which guitar is closer to Jimi Hendrix Or Eric Johnson sound? I have seen the video and have not decided ...

  • Υοu will make your sound by amp and effect there is no guitar with an artist sound.Buy a multieffect and try to emulate your favorite sound.

  • The 50`s will give you a slightly more eric johnson flavour. Its very close in feel and sound to his signature guitar. i would go for the 60`s for hendrix, the clout from the alnico5`s will reproduce his driven tone better.

  • 50s is eric johnson 60s is hendrix.

  • better pickups on the 60s

  • excellent video thanks for showing the difference in sound so I can have one idea to buy a 50s or 60s now I'm buying a definitive classic 60s vibe now I stay with her 60s, sound is warmer and fender classic I think Both are very good is a very good choice, agree with me, you sent a greeting. thanks

  • looool *FENDUHH!*

  • The 50's has Alnico 3 pups. The 60's has Alnico 5 pups. The 60's is warmer and has a bit more punch than the 50's. I know this because I own BOTH of them.

  • @twolf422 DO YOU NOW WHAT KIND OF PUPS ON IN THE SQUIRE STANDARD?

  • @foxybrown2 alnico 5's

  • Great guitars...and even GREATER playing dude!!

  • hjk-mljnj-fende-fhaze

    hahaha what a language

in my opinion there is like 1% of difference...

    and its colour

    i like '60 more :)

  • No one else said it but thanks for the vidy. I am definitely going to buy a classic vibe for sure.
