i know they changed a lot in the movie but i actually liked it.. esp the ending cause in the anime when L died it was over for me and light won (cause the 2nd part with near and everything kinda seemed out of place & as it was just added to be morally correct)

but here L isn't killed but raher sacrifices himself for justice and defeats kira before his death... i like that they didn't change the fact that kira loses and both die but make L win :D

you have to see at least half the face of your "victim" if you are a death note owner.

and you must keep his/her face in mind while writing the name and cause of death.

DEATHNOTE RULE # 2:

The note will not take effect unless the writer has the person's face in their mind when writing his/her name. Therefore, people sharing the same name will not be affected.

although that is all true the movie is very well put together and follows the same order the anime and manga does well for most the part, even though they dont have some charecters and some did not resemble the charecter but still the movie was good but i prefer the manga and anime better.

That woman is there as a replacement of that Yotsuba's employee (no names so as not to spoil manga&anime plot) - he doesn't appear in this film. Nor does Mikami (was that the name of that prosecutor? I'm not really sure). Mello is nowhere to be found as well, but Near was included in the 3rd live-action film: L: Change the World (not quite a good one, so unless you're Death Note fans, I recommend against watching it).

I have no clue why I havent figured it out yet! but he kills burns the death notes so no one else can get them then he goes through a 23 day adventure and saves the world from a terrible african disease and then on the 23rd day he dies! but in L's movie it doesnt show him dying but he does introduce Near!
