@gakman41 If they are right on the crease you step about a bit and mirror their movements, I caught for crease shots in a row from the same shooter by doing this in a game, and when they shoot from further away you watch the ball leave their stick and step towards it to cut of the angle and your hands do the rest.

@KAOSxFactorz well depends on when...you gotta read body position to be on your arc correctly....i read hands a lot...the closer hands are...typically theres a shot coming...either at the butt of the shaft...or towards the head for control for quick shots...ill shift to watching the head of the guys stick sure...but before that...theres too many other things to see...ie...crease men moving creating a shooting lane weakside...whatever...its all progression i suppose

LOL all their doing is catching a ball with a stick head thats 1 foot wide.. seriously all they do is stand upright and place their stick head in front of the ball ? Theirs nothing to it. The puck travels at the same speeds. The goal is 4ft high/6ft wide, so your goal is 2ft taller. hockey goalies do have more padding, but being a goalie in hockey isn't meant to leave bruises or hurt in any way. The leg pads and catching glove cant be more then 1 foot wide, and thats the same width as lacrosse goalies stick heads.
ok let me get this straight, i have one 1ft wide stick while you have two 1ft wide leg pads and a 1ft wide glove plus a stick all ontop of having a smaller net. how does that take more skill???

i played goalie last season and busted 4 different bones in each hand one of which was a thumb. back to the clip, watch out for Gamon Archer in the near future, he's a beast.

LOL all their doing is catching a ball with a stick head thats 1 foot wide.. seriously all they do is stand upright and place their stick head in front of the ball ? Theirs nothing to it. Ice hockey goalies use way more athletic ability in each save. I played travel hockey for 4 years, I would know. My friends who play hs lacross even say so.

i bet, if the ball is travling 90-100mph hour it takes a lot of skill, o may i also say it is harder in lacrosse because the oal is 6 feet by 6 feet. what is hockey 3 by 2 and the goalie has tons of super thick padding. panzies!!!

The puck travels at the same speeds. The goal is 4ft high/6ft wide, so your goal is 2ft taller. hockey goalies do have more padding, but being a goalie in hockey isn't meant to leave bruises or hurt in any way. The leg pads and catching glove cant be more then 1 foot wide, and thats the same width as lacrosse goalies stick heads.

ok let me get this straight, i have one 1ft wide stick while you have two 1ft wide leg pads and a 1ft wide glove plus a stick all ontop of having a smaller net. how does that take more skill???

well im a lacrosse goalie and i would much rather have what all the hockey goalies wear. cause the ball hurts like hell. your friends are stupid. lacrosse Goalie is ridicoulasly harder. and.... they bounce the ball off the ground its unpredictable where it bounces. and the ball is harder to see. a black puck on white ice and it usually doesnt get off the ice. if so it goes straight

Ice hockey has smaller goals and more pads it make is SLIGHTLY easier for u guys but u do have to problem of ice (and if your talking about field hockey takes no skill at allll)
