a couple years ago i had a halloween party, and instead of watching scary movies, we watched this. we were excited to see what #1 was, and when this came up, we were all thinking 'come on, come on'......then he jumped out, and we all screamed! XD rewatching it it isn't THAT scary, but nobody saw it coming, and it was just fantastic!

@TheOmenOfficial Cuz its a scary scene caught off guard. So you are not expecting it and if you are watching the whole film and dont know about that part, it will be scary. Duh

@TheOmenOfficial Also, it was 1967. Films were way less graphic then, so there were different standards and expectations when it came to what was scary. The Exorcist was released 6 years later than this, and people were traumatized by that.
