@Faithsmitty Personally I liked Solange was'nt badass 24/7. I think it would've gotten a bit boring, especially since Ivory was like this in her book, which was'nt a problem, but it gets a little tiring sometimes. I really liked the fact that Solange had a more vulnerable side, it kept me more interested.

I simply ADORED the Drake Sisters and now the Sea Haven books. And the Nightwalkers are fantastic!! But then I love magic and paranormal, enhanced senses, etc.
I am going to go get it, I have a coupon but I hope I'm not disappointed. Her last novel with Ivory and Nicolas (I think) was just too much gore, not enough romance. She has strayed away so far from the way she wrote when she first came out. Lot's of blood gore, nasty vampire and the romance has gone by the way side. All of that Dark language chanting has got to go too. At the heart of her books are the romance

The warrior woman I like is Ivory she can kick butt. Yeah that sure when they mean their men they become softer than stronger. If I meet a man like that I want to stronger from the beginning to the end. Yeah she writes then really well.

I love Suzanne Enoch, Julie Garwood and Nora Roberts, her trilogy series are so amazing. You should try books by Angela Knight and Jacquelyn Frank there like Christine Feehan, Kresley Cole and so on, their awesome. Since you like Susan Mallery you should try Carly Phillips she great.

@Lisisjulia I brought the book the day it came out at 9.37am Yes Zacarias made a appearance in the book to help Dominic out he's so cool He's Dominic childhood friend. Dominic been waiting a long time than Zacarias because Dominic first made apperance in Dark Gold. We did not know about the brothers until CH wrote Dark Hunger. So Dominic book should have been written a long time ago. I think CH might write his book next year.

There was five new Carpathian introtuced in Dark Slayer they had serve under Mikhail's father Vlad. I think CH might write books about them and Louiz who Manolito had turn into a Carpathian, but she going to write Zacarias next he's the last guy on the Carpathian family with out a lifemate.

They're basically about the people who live there or go there to live for one reason or another, falling in love and what not lol. And Jellicoe is a series about this woman who's a thief, and she meets this guy and they get dragged into this mystery they have to solve, and then they fall in love. There's 5 books in the series and they all center around her and him.

@loveinthebattlefield Yes I love Vampire Diaries, and I watch a lot of shows at The CW, but I don't watch Supernatural. I got my book from Coles, and I paid like 21$, I would have had to pay more but I was returning a book so I got the money from that taken of my DP price. And lol no I didn't spend my Labor Day weekend reading DP, I just ment that I really didn't do anything special, ljust hung out with friends. @loveinthebattlefield 1) I’m a huge CF fan, but DP hasn’t been as good as I expected and at this point I know it won't get better. This makes it 3 disappointing dark books in a row (first Dark Curse then Dark Slayer). Maybe I’m too demanding ^_^. But I'm hopeful. I agree: Solange isn’t as strong as she was previously portrayed. It also really bugged me that after realizing she was his lifemate, Dominic chose honor over her and she was okay with that, and that he was like her therapist.
@loveinthebattlefield 2) Unexpected and interesting things in DP: we finally get to see Zacarías! Dimitri having a brother who turned out to be a vampire, Carpathian resting places being breached and for the first time I see a Carpathian actually turning! The only other case I can think of was Gregory in Dark Magic, but not like Zacarías. So I agree that the next book (Dark Predator) has to be his story. Plus, all 5 Malinov brothers turned, so the 5 DLC brothers should be saved. ^_^
@CaciqueUrraca All you said is so true. Do you know that Dark Prince has been reprint and has a new cover? Also Dark Predator is about Zacarias I always knew that next book would be his. It does say who is lifemate is but it does say the answer awaits him back home in Peru. Well I want to know who his lifemate is, you can read the first chapter on CF website. Do you know that all my children has been canceled it will be done in september and so has one life to live it will be done in january.

Don’t get me wrong: this Lady introduced me to paranormal romance! She’s great at portraying characters psychologically; and no one writes love scenes better, don't you think?.
@loveinthebattlefield 2) She’s also the only author I know of who’s written not one, but three books featuring protagonists with a handicap, AND pulls it off. I don’t mean to be rude or discourage others from reading her books, but frankly the Carpathian series has gone from great to merely good in a market flooded with new blood (no pun intended); it has run its course. It now lacks that spark that had me craving them. Great for new readers, but I’ve been reading her books since 2004.
@loveinthebattlefield 3) E.g: Skyler/Dimitri’s story is long overdue (I mean, come on! Why not simply flash-forward it?), as is solving the Carpathians’ extinction issue. Luiz, the wolf species, the Dragonseeker aunts and several warriors introduced in Dark Slayer are too many potential stories for a saga that should’ve ended long ago.
Btw, what’s the point of the “Sisters of the heart” series? It’s the Drake Sisters series all over again!

@04shiho 1) Yes, but I think she should’ve just used an epilogue to tell us that Ilya’s brother died or that he went on to live happily ever after, or just write a single title story for Rikki and him, not start a whole “new” series with a premise she’s already used. To make things worse, Jonas appears in ‘Water Bound’ (sorry, but he, GhostWalker Mack and shapeshifter Jake are the leading men I like the least).
@04shiho 2) I know it’s fiction, but a town with two sets of extraordinary sisters? I like that the SOTH seem to be “regular” women, unlike the famous Drakes with their prominent professions (supermodel, rock star, marine biologist, doctor, etc), but this series is too closely linked to the DS series, and it just doesn’t feel new to me.

@Lisisjulia You probably removed it out with knowing. Kresley Cole she is awesome. Did you read her new book that came out last month. I know some of the authurs you mention. I don't know Robyn Car. I love Suzanne Enoch, Julie Garwood and Nora Roberts, her trilogy series are so amazing. You should try books by Angela Knight and Jacquelyn Frank there like Christine Feehan, Kresley Cole and so on, their awesome. Since you like Susan Mallery you should try Carly Phillips she great.

@loveinthebattlefield (part 2) name them all lol. Yeah I got mine the day it came out, I went to Wal-Mart like you said but they didn't have it : / I guess my Wal-Mart is just stupid. I haven't read it though because I'm right in the middle of reading a series and I want to finish them first. Do we really finially meet Zacarias in this book? I had thought this book would be his since he's been waiting so long, I'm excited to finally learn more about him. Have you finished to book?

@Lisisjulia I brought the book the day it came out at 9.37am Yes Zacarias made a appearance in the book to help Dominic out he's so cool He's Dominic childhood friend. Dominic been waiting a long time than Zacarias because Dominic first made apperance in Dark Gold. We did not know about the brothers until CH wrote Dark Hunger. So Dominic book should have been written a long time ago. I think CH might write his book next year.

@Lisisjulia (part 2) I could wait to see who his lifemate is. Could be Gabrielle or the Aunts, I don't think it could be Jasmine. In the book when Dominic told Zacarias that he would meet his lifemate soon. Zacarias told him that a modern would not like or live with a dominant man. That he cannot be what what this century dictates is proper, nor do I want to. He's old fashion. I can't wait to know who turns out to be his lifemate, there will be some DRAMA!!! I can't wait.

@Lisisjulia (part 3) It's seems that Dimitri had a brother name Demyan their family last name is Tiranual they though he was dead years age turns out he turn vampire he's a master vampire he's in this book. There was five new Carpathian introtuced in Dark Slayer they had serve under Mikhail's father Vlad. I think CH might write books about them and Louiz who Manolito had turn into a Carpathian, but she going to write Zacarias next he's the last guy on the Carpathian family with out a lifemate.

@Lisisjulia (part 4) You ask me if I finish reading Dark Peril. No I have to, I'm going to take my time it. I could finish a book in day two-three if it's a good book, since CH only have one Dark book come out every year. I don't want to go crazy because I finish so fast because I don't hve new one to read. I don't no why your walmart don't hve it yet, might it's coming soon, go check it again this week if you don't see it ask one of the people who work there about it. Boy did I try u alot.

@loveinthebattlefield Lmao ok there is alot of stuff to reply to :P I did read Kresley Cole's new book, I loved it, I love all her books, and that one really exiciting because she wrote it so that lots of other stories will come out of it. I'll have to try out those other authors you suggested, I'm always looking for new ones while I wait for my fav authors to put out more books.Yes I think Zacarias books will be next, at least I hope so cause it doesn't seem like he'll be able to wait much

@loveinthebattlefield (Part2) longer, but then again every male seems to be on the brink of turning or walking into sun when she finally write their book lol. I think that one of the Aunts might be his lifemate, only because they are sort of from the same time as him. I think the only way for him to find someone who could live with him, is if they were older like him. And yeah I'm about 150 pages into Dark Peril now and I find Im reading it slower then I normaly would because I don't want to

@Lisisjulia Did you check walmart again? I guess Dimitri having a evil vampire brother is cool. I can't wait to read Dimitri/Skyler story too. In Dark Slayer she 17 CH will write her book when she hits the 20's. I hope to hear more about the new Carpathian men too in this book, this book take place in Brazil/South America. When CH introduced the men it took place in the Carpathian mountains. She might talk more about them in the next book. They sound FINE/SEXY!!! How was your labor day?

@loveinthebattlefield (Part4) in her next book (which will hopefully be Zacarias) she gives some type of hint on who the book after that, will be about. I hate guessing and wondering lmao. Anyways, yeah Robyn Carr is really good, I've only read her Virgin River series, but they were super good. She writes with alot of emotion. And I LOVE Suzanne Enoch's, Samantha Jellicoe series. I actually just ordered all other them XD Anywho, I'll definitely look into those authors you suggested :)

@loveinthebattlefield I hope Zacarias is paired with one of the Aunts, but idk cause they're in the ground and they might have to stay there awhile. I've finished the book and I was alittle disappointed with Dark Peril, more so with the main characters relationship. My Labor Day weekend was pretty boring lol how was yours? I haven't checked my Wal-Mart again, I ended up just getting it from the book store. And I thought the girl singing in those videos was really good. XD <-- That is a smiley.

I have not finish Dark Peril yet when I do we'll talk about why you were disappointed with it. Yes her singing is great she should make a ablum. My labor day was okay my eldest brother who lives up north and his family came and visit us so did two of my cousins all in the day was alright.

@loveinthebattlefield The Virgin River series is about this little town and the books are all based there. They're basically about the people who live there or go there to live for one reason or another, falling in love and what not lol. And Jellicoe is a series about this woman who's a thief, and she meets this guy and they get dragged into this mystery they have to solve, and then they fall in love. There's 5 books in the series and they all center around her and him.

Someone left a comment on this page said kinda disappointed in this one i always thought of the girl in this book as a bad ass when mentioned in the other books. but there are like 5 + chapters dedicated to her being a winny wimp. had to skip most of book just to here the good stuff. really butchered the girl...

@loveinthebattlefield Yes I love Vampire Diaries, and I watch a lot of shows at The CW, but I don't watch Supernatural. I got my book from Coles, and I paid like 21$, I would have had to pay more but I was returning a book so I got the money from that taken of my DP price. And lol no I didn't spend my Labor Day weekend reading DP, I just ment that I really didn't do anything special, ljust hung out with friends. Your Labor Day sounds like it was nice though, you got to spend it with your family,

And yeah I saw that person's comment, I agree that the girl's character was really a shock, but that isn't the only reason I was disspointed with the book. When you are done it, we'll have to compare note lol. I hope Zacarias isn't paired with Gabrielle.. it just doesn't seem like he is going to be able to have a "modern woman" so if he gets one, its probably going to be really hard for him to keep her.

@Lisisjulia NO I did not watch the BBG fireworks. What was it about labor day or 9/11? Yeah her comment was a shock for some people. Other left a comment that said there was too much battles not enough romance. Yes when I'm done we'll have to compare notes. I don't think Zacarias will be bad with Gabrielle he might be able to keep up with her, even if she is a "modern woman" We'll have to see next year who CH picks for Zacarias as his lifemate. Who ever she makes might just shock you.

@loveinthebattlefield 1) I’m a huge CF fan, but DP hasn’t been as good as I expected and at this point I know it won't get better. This makes it 3 disappointing dark books in a row (first Dark Curse then Dark Slayer). Maybe I’m too demanding ^_^. But I'm hopeful. I agree: Solange isn’t as strong as she was previously portrayed. It also really bugged me that after realizing she was his lifemate, Dominic chose honor over her and she was okay with that, and that he was like her therapist.

@loveinthebattlefield 2) Unexpected and interesting things in DP: we finally get to see Zacarías! Dimitri having a brother who turned out to be a vampire, Carpathian resting places being breached and for the first time I see a Carpathian actually turning! The only other case I can think of was Gregory in Dark Magic, but not like Zacarías. So I agree that the next book (Dark Predator) has to be his story. Plus, all 5 Malinov brothers turned, so the 5 DLC brothers should be saved. ^_^

@CaciqueUrraca All you said is so true. Do you know that Dark Prince has been reprint and has a new cover? Also Dark Predator is about Zacarias I always knew that next book would be his. It does say who is lifemate is but it does say the answer awaits him back home in Peru. Well I want to know who his lifemate is, you can read the first chapter on CF website. Do you know that all my children has been canceled it will be done in september and so has one life to live it will be done in january.

Can’t believe I posted those comments so many months ago, and I still mean them. I haven’t “broken up” with Ms. Feehan, ^^ but I’m on a Dark Book series hiatus. Don’t get me wrong: this Lady introduced me to paranormal romance! She’s great at portraying characters psychologically; and no one writes love scenes better, don't you think?.

@loveinthebattlefield 2) She’s also the only author I know of who’s written not one, but three books featuring protagonists with a handicap, AND pulls it off. I don’t mean to be rude or discourage others from reading her books, but frankly the Carpathian series has gone from great to merely good in a market flooded with new blood (no pun intended); it has run its course. It now lacks that spark that had me craving them. Great for new readers, but I’ve been reading her books since 2004.

@loveinthebattlefield 3) E.g: Skyler/Dimitri’s story is long overdue (I mean, come on! Why not simply flash-forward it?), as is solving the Carpathians’ extinction issue. Luiz, the wolf species, the Dragonseeker aunts and several warriors introduced in Dark Slayer are too many potential stories for a saga that should’ve ended long ago.
Btw, what’s the point of the “Sisters of the heart” series? It’s the Drake Sisters series all over again!

@CaciqueUrraca i just wanted to add a little to what you said in the drake series Ms. Feehan left a story hanging about the Prakenskii brothers. So she continued it in the Sisters of the heart so they can all be reunited.... sorry i just needed to say it

@04shiho 1) Yes, but I think she should’ve just used an epilogue to tell us that Ilya’s brother died or that he went on to live happily ever after, or just write a single title story for Rikki and him, not start a whole “new” series with a premise she’s already used. To make things worse, Jonas appears in ‘Water Bound’ (sorry, but he, GhostWalker Mack and shapeshifter Jake are the leading men I like the least).

@04shiho 2) I know it’s fiction, but a town with two sets of extraordinary sisters? I like that the SOTH seem to be “regular” women, unlike the famous Drakes with their prominent professions (supermodel, rock star, marine biologist, doctor, etc), but this series is too closely linked to the DS series, and it just doesn’t feel new to me.
