This was the single greatest passing team of the 80's, and better than any team I saw in the 70's or 90's. The 2000's+ have been a sad joke, outside of the '04 Pistons and '08 Celtics. Far too many of you 20-somethings seem to think Pippen came in during the 90-91 season, and the Bulls instanty started winning titles. WRONG! Look it up, 1987-88. In the Bulls' title runs they faced Vlade Divac, Kevin Duckworth, Mark West, Ervin Johnson, and Greg Ostertag--not exactly the cream of the crop when it comes to NBA centers.

The problem is that there were a lot mroe smarter basketball players back then. But when MJ came int othe league, he came in with a style that looked flashy. but most peopel forget to realzie that Mj was a fundamental basketball player which included basketball smarts. The difference is that MJ had the talent, ability & dedication to translate his basketball smarts into fantastic plays.
