They sell bird diapers for birds of all shapes and sizes now. Many birds can also be potty trained; but it takes a LOT of repetition, and is best done with a clicker or some other item that makes a unique sound. Birds do indeed have at least some control over their elimination, haha.
I have always wanted to ask owners who let their birds fly around the house -- Do they poop as they please or you can actually potty-train them? Just seeing all the splats the wild pigeons make on the parking lot and cars is unbearable to see...but now in home?

Gorgeous sound! i could listen to it all day! I have 4 doves at the moment and i know if you have more than 1 it wont bond with u as much but my ringneck dove juliet LOVES to be rubbed in the crop she is my angel
He cooing when you caress him! So cute! My pet pigeons, when I caress they and they was in good mood, is cooing too, inflating their cute neck bubbles. Exactly like this!

I am a friend of Squeaky's owners and have to say that they have one of the cleanest homes I've ever visited.
I'm sure they have trained Squeaky because he definitely does not fly around the house pooping as he pleases. I will ask the owner.
