Heck all the people i know started airsofting with those cheap spring pistols and then moved on to official field & AEGs. :)

I have a UTG l96, its perfect and everything with .25-and-high bbs. At first, I realized if I put too many bbs in the clip, and cocked the rifle, it would unload all the bbs in the barrel, so I got used to only putting about half in (I thought it wouldn't have much pressure on the clip), but now, it can barely hold 5 or 6. Is it because of the shitty clip, or is it something in the gun? I'm not a gun expert, so "layman's term" would help

hmm, i use something called iron sights. ever heard of them? they're these magical things that come with most guns. they are for players who don't need 9x magnification to hit a target 150 feet away. now you might say "there are no iron sights on that type of gun." well, look down the barrel then, i have done it and can hit a man sized target 100-150 ft away easily. you're probably some chode with a 450FPS JG ENHANCED MP5 or something. call me when you learn some grammar.

ouch, that barret must've set you back quite a bit. i'm guessing it's the socomgear m82? i'm currently running a kwa sr12 dmr w/ a madbull 6.03 tightbore, systema bucking, and occasionally a 3-9x40 optic. my close quarters gun is a bone stock tm aug with a red dot aimpoint. lol so many times it's a 9 year old kid with a big mouth that you tend to overreact lol.

i'd have to suggest a kwa sr10 or sr12. mine has been going good for the better part of a year now and the performance is still impressive. i can tag a target at 200 feet w/ .25s pretty easily. the rof is pretty good and it is pretty accurate stock. the build quality is also really nice. the tm aug could also make a good dmr with some more upgrades but it's hard to find now.
