Nice playing but your hitting those notes too hard with mallets, if you check Hapi's website or the manual you'll see that they tell you not to hit the notes with too much force or you'll bring it out of tune.
Keep on playing though, and try the fingers, you'll get a different sound, you might even like better.
The mallets are good for some songs and we all tried them too when the drums first arrive, but next, you want to use your fingers to get that personal sound that only your hands can make.
