@kimdealcg While i do think that Renee was great in this movie (This is the only time i can stand her acting), I do feel that Catherine was the better actress here. I feel as though she displayed a wider range of emotions, and was more subtle with her acting, which I appreciate. My main thing about Zellwegger is the she's a little over the top for me. Plus, did she win a Tony? No, but Zeta-Jones did...

it is absolutely FAR from sleazy, it's LOADED with taste, and the plot is far from the dull. the trailer doesn't de-emphasize any of that all. clearly you were watching the wrong trailer because this one doesn't manipulate the plot line in order to make it seem like a trashy romp film.
