@EnterCornMaze If the light sensor detects black the robot turns left and if it detects white it turns right.
There would be a faster way, making the robot move forward when it detects grey additionally (because when it's right on the edge of the line it "sees" one half black and one half white which is detected as grey) but this method is not as reliable as the other one (it schould work on a perfectly white underground though)
oh ok. Well the kit I got was didn't it didnt really tell me to build the robot the way yours looks. As for the programming, what program did you use?
@KSIB18 I programmed it with the software that came with the set, NXT-G is the name of it I think. I'm trying to learn NXC at the moment but I'm not yet that far that I could do something like this with it :-)
I have a robot similar to yours and I would like to know how you made the arms and programmed the robot to feel the place where the ball was, and then get the ball.
@KSIB18 Sorry for the late answer. I just built the robot called Tribot from the official set and it feels the frame where the ball is in with the touch sensor. The only problem I had was to make it feel where it has to put the ball in the end because the ball itself and the claws were in the way of the touch sensor.
I swear I seen this in my nightmares

How did you make the robot follow the line both left and right?
