How can hecompare Edison with Jobs? Edison was a one man band inventor, no? And Jobs has repeatedly said that the amazing Apple employees are who are really responsible for the great products.
the guy at the end use to be a original employer of Apple, he has been heavily influenced by Steve Jobs' thoughts and philosophy. Steve Jobs was great but he wasn't Edison nor Disney. He was a great manager, visionary, and CEO but he was not a person who invented things by himself, he was a great talent scout and able to use other people to invent things for him. Edison was a real electrical engineer and inventor.

Comparison Jobs-Edison: Agreed on what Jobs gets credit for but Thomas Edison gets no credit for Electric Power Industry. It's very common misconception. There was a physicist named Nicola Tesla who worked as Edison's employee. Nicola Tesla discovered polyphase induction motors and set the cornerstone for today's Electric Power Industry. So Edison gets two instead of three credits (motion picture and music industry).
@SuperDedara Yes my life long issue Tesla a Croatian. There are many Croat visionary inventors, leaders. I'll get your ass out, will get people to love fb again Google
True, incandescent light bulb. Quite minor invention in comparison with the discovery of polyphase induction motor. Only the best physicist in history were honored in way that their names were used for naming units. For example:
Magnetic flux density, magnetic induction
tesla: T = Wb/m2 = kg/s2 A
People should know that Nikola Tesla was way more important scientist than Thomas Edison.
@SuperDedara yea, i wasnt comparing Tesla and Edison. I was comparing Edison and Steve Jobs. Edison came up with the Incandescent light bulb and Steve Jobs came up with...hmm...let me see. GUI nope that was Xerox, MP3 Player...nope, Cellphone...nope...well how about the 'smartphone' he didnt do that either.
As scientist, absolutely yes (not as a fellow human being). Sorry, your profession obviously has nothing to do with physics otherwise you would know better.
Edison was a douche and a thug who was a corporate shill. Nicola Tesla was far far greater than Edison. People don't know much about him though. I hate Edison.
Jobs wasn't a scientist or an engineer but he was an inventor in an indirect way. He was a creator.
@5454545714 ye that shit didn't make sense, the guys analogy was completely stupid, if it worked then my grandpa who fought in WW2 is greater than Steve Jobs and Thomas Edison combined
@5454545714 Its not really crazy , steve jobs simply took everything in the tech world to make a good company and to drive competition in the technology market. This is a strong impact.....Makes companies compete more..etc etc. There was no need to create a new source of energy or power, we already have it, so he took advantage of technology and made it better............ Thomas Edison , Steve Jobs, Bill gates etc etc all make strong impacts.
where is the full version????????!!!!

I didn't say that. The speculation is your sentence which reads: "No one would know who Tesla was if it wasn't for Edison providing him with a job."
