our grandpa died because of a dog... thats one reason why i hate dogs.

This cougar probably felt threatened by them encroaching on his territory and attacked. But you're right though, the only ones that should be blamed for what happened here are the kids' parents, not the cougar.
I live in South east ontario where you won't find very many cougars but if i encountered a cougar when alone, i would definately try an stop those jaws and pin it down!

hte way he died was he was going for a walk with his dog when the dog saw a car and chased after him, grandpa was unewere of this and was pulled into the road and was hit by a truck

This cougar probably felt threatened by them encroaching on his territory and attacked. But you're right though, the only ones that should be blamed for what happened here are the kids' parents, not the cougar.

I don't know how true it is, but I heard that when any wild animals attack they have to be destroyed for fear they get comfortable approaching and attacking out of the blue.
If they are animals on the endangered species list I believe they try to keep them alive for conservation efforts.

I think this could be an act of God trying to subtly reduce our population. I mean there are 6.7 billion people on Earth (I said "on Earth" maybe alien abductions are trying to reduce our population as well.) which other species minibeasts aside, have a population like that? I think because of our species development, we have only 1 natural enemy - ourselves. Wars are our only form of major species control now but they are still horrific. Makes interesting homework though. I like stories.

I think I can see why we've had all these wars: there are 6.7 billion humans on the planet, name another species (minibeasts aside) with that population. Wars are the only population control for people but they are nonetheless horrific and pitiful. I personally hate wars apart from the ones in games but I admit I enjoy looking up wars for homework because they are an interesting homework. I like stories.
