No, I know nothing about dieting, but I ma doing something that works, and has been working well. IF you lost 140 pounds, than great for you, you just spared yourself a life of msiery.
Eat a healthy breakfast that fills you up--nothing fried, ever of course, no eggs or bacon, etc., and never skip breakfast. Have fruit and/or cereal in the morning. Then you won't be so hungry later. Skip lunch, avoid diet drinks w/aspartame content--it's poison! Drink juices and green tea flavored with lemon or lime juice. Eat a light evening meal. Walk 40 minutes per day, best to do the walking prior to the eating of the morning meal.
@vinegaroon1 Hi, I am with you 100% with juices, water over diet sodas, but the Aspartme scare is mostly internet hoaxes forwarded by "write-it-yourself" blogs. Yes, on walking. Everybody has cool walking trails, shopping areas around them that makes walking more fun.
