breakfast with ben and ben's daughter getting killed were my two favorites on this list. there's so many GREAT moments from LOST that everyone would have a different list.
i have some good memories of LOST but in the end i was disappointed, the writers hadn't really considered any overarching themes or even a consistent story, they were just playing for time and ended up writing themselves into a corner.

#1 is definetly one of the best moments, not in an emotional way, but because Michelle Rodriguez finally died. She was the worst thing in lost, a totally one-dimensional character/actress among characters like Jack/Kate/Sawyer.

but the phone call between desmond and penny in the episode the constant is definitely in the top 10 too. so is the season finale of season 1 where they go into the hatch. and i think charlie's death is my number 1 favourite. the spinal surgery on ben was also pretty intense
The only moment that made me tear up (so far) was Charlie's death. I'm watching the series on netflix. I didn't watch it when it was on air. I'm on season 5. So far the most confusing season yet,.

In 3x23, Through the Looking Glass, we're hearing about the death of John Locke (of course we're not shown John dead until a full season later); the death that ran the rest of the show. I watched all of LOST in the span of a few months back in September. No TV show has ever made me feel the way LOST did. I will never forget the experience. What a life-changing incredible creation. I can't explain how incredible it was.
@mattisprettycool This is so similar to my situation with LOST that I thought I wrote it and forgot... I watched it back in September also and finished it within a few months. It changed my life. The way I viewed relationships with strangers as well as close friends was completely transformed because of it. It is a show that everybody needs to watch... Its important messages are and will remain relevant forever.
@appreciatehate Yeah, I totally know what you mean..I've never really followed a series, except for older shows that don't really follow a strict plot (like Seinfeld, or early Simpson's episodes from the mid '90s), but this just blew my mind beyond explanation. I dont get why they had to do the whole religion thing it wrecked the show, i like how jacks looking at plane in last episode as it flys away cause its real then. They should of focused on story more and ended it season 3
1 and 2 should be lower, 4 should be #1, and 5, 7, 8, and 9 shouldn't've even made the list. Where are Seasons 5 and 6 on this list? There were some amazing moments there, two from the S5 finale and Locke's death... and you didn't even include the Desmond and Penny scene.

It's pretty much a mission impossible to pick ten favourite scenes from a series as great as Lost. It even sounds weird to say that, because I can't remember any other series really to be on the level that Lost set. Anyway, I would have to go through the entire series probably 5 or 6 times before I could make some kind of a list. But to wrap this all up, from my point of view right now, you could not had picked a more rightful winner. That scene was extremely emotional on so many levels.

Good list I would move Jack's scene at the end of through the looking glass into the top spot. I would also put the Sawyer/Locke/Locke's father scene from season 3 into the top 10. What a great moment.

Season 3 Finale was the best .. and Charlie's scene should've been #2

1 and 2 should be lower, 4 should be #1, and 5, 7, 8, and 9 shouldn't've even made the list. Where are Seasons 5 and 6 on this list? There were some amazing moments there, two from the S5 finale and Locke's death... and you didn't even include the Desmond and Penny scene.

@sheepman2342 While it's really totally impossible to pick ten scenes that everyone will agree on, I agree that 1&2 should be lower, there should be some Desmond/Penny in here, and OMGWTFBBQ #4 "We have to go back" is THE lost scene in my opinion.

It's pretty much a mission impossible to pick ten favourite scenes from a series as great as Lost. It even sounds weird to say that, because I can't remember any other series really to be on the level that Lost set. Anyway, I would have to go through the entire series probably 5 or 6 times before I could make some kind of a list. But to wrap this all up, from my point of view right now, you could not had picked a more rightful winner. That scene was extremely emotional on so many levels.

For me it's the season 5 finale where Ben kills Jacob. Locke, or MiB if you will, says, You have no idea what I've gone through to be here." That wan amazing, so many images of Jack's dad and the horse and Dave and Walt, everything clicked and i said, "oh my god." I'll never forget that moment

Good list I would move Jack's scene at the end of through the looking glass into the top spot. I would also put the Sawyer/Locke/Locke's father scene from season 3 into the top 10. What a great moment.

Number 7 is my absolute favorite LOST scene... this is when I fell absolutely in LOVE with Ben Linus.
All of these are also amongst my favorite, but I'd have like 25 favorites or something.
