  • is that move worth it?

  • @guromaon I'm never in support of Triple techs. Even some Double techs are already pushing the boundaries of being wasteful.

  • All that work for this crappy move...

  • Tech looks cool, but for the cost to your elements it isn't worth it. FlyingArrow can do that much damage and you are better off saving MaidenFaith and RazFlower for their own.

  • @Hellwolf36 That's why I never use Double nor Triple techs, they're just cool looking but suffers from lack of damage output. 3 characters doing their own thing would deal much more damage.

  • @Vampyreq too bad they cant give them some sort of special effect to compensate eh?

  • Thnx 4 all the info. Can u tell me sme other combination also?

  • @maninderkhangura Just look through all my Chrono Videos that either says Double Tech or Triple Tech.

  • @Vampyreq okeez thnx...

  • Can please anyone tell me how we combine elements? Also how to release elements like frog prince..?

  • @maninderkhangura 2 Characters or more must have the required element level charged before they can use double or triple tech. For example, to use Delta Force, Serge must at least be on Level 5, Razzly and Leena both Level 7. And with summons like frog prince, the element field must be full with the color of the summons plus the required element level which is usually 7 or 8.

  • @Vampyreq ok thanks.. but how i get the delta force element... and do i must have the same combination of serge, razzly and leena??? or any other combination also works???

  • @maninderkhangura Yes, character combinations are fixed. And you need to get Razzly's Lv7 tech which is miss-able. Once you get everyone's element grid charged to the required level, delta force will automatically appear.

  • sighh.....just beat cross yesterday....but they really should've cut the characters down and have much more double and triple techs.

  • @turtleboat Kind of agree...there are some characters I simply ignore...too lousy lol...

  • @BeachofDreams1988 It's cool. And I'm glad to see that you took my point coolly...some other random dude might have just gone "Shut up, you don't know anything you suck boo!" Thumbs up man!

  • @BeachofDreams1988 And to add, the way I attack doesn't cause all party members to be exhausted at the same time. By the time it comes to the third character, my first would have been at stamina 7 ready to rock again.

My method of attack used would be 6 stamina attack -> Element, assuming all hit.

And it is easy and reliable. That's the important thing. It's almost brainless, doesn't screw with your stamina, and you don't have to think who does and casts what first. That's for me though..

  • @Vampyreq Ok I see what you mean. Me and you just like to play in different ways I see. I have battle patters for enemies down pretty well so my Magnify, Genius, Weak Minded all one color trick works pretty painlessly. Besides I think it is fun playing like that. Though pure melee with the cool looking Duel Einlanzers and the powerful cool looking Mastermune is fun. And trust me I know that Glenn and Serges physicals with Strengthen, LoRes, all field White or Green against their opps are strong.

  • @BeachofDreams1988 That's what I'll do if I were want to cast Delta Force your way, it's complicated, you need to make sure you know what you're doing and in what order, and what if the enemy casts a non-white element?

And to add, Razzly and Leena aren't very strong characters, My Serge alone can deal about 1.8 - 2.2k, Orlha deals 1.4 - 2k damage. And just add a strong third character, I can keep dealing that sort of damage. Rinse and repeat.

  • @BeachofDreams1988 Serge Cast PhotonRay. Stamina 0. (Grid 7)

    Serge 0, Razzly 3, Leena 4.

Leena spends 2 stamina. Stamina 2, (Grid 7)

All cast Delta Force. Stamina reset. Lose turn.

  • @BeachofDreams1988 Serge spends 6 stamina to get to 6. Cast Genius. Stamina -6 (Grid 5)

Razzly spends 6 stamina to get to 6. Cast Magnify. Stamina -13 (Grid 4)

Serge stamina now 1, Razzly -6

Leena spends 6 stamina to get to 6. Cast weakminded. Stamina -6 (Grid 5)

    Serge Stamina 7, Razzly 3. Leena -6

Serge spends 4 Stamina. Defend. Stamina 3 (Grid 8).

    Serge stamina 3, Razzly 7, Leena -2.

Razzly spends 5 stamina. Defend. Stamina 2 (Grid 8).

    Serge Stamina 7, Razzly2, Leena 3.

  • @BeachofDreams1988 Yes, and see how much stamina and turns you spent to deal that 5k exhausting all party members and giving the enemy 1 turn. Sure your stamina resets, but in terms of damage over time, double and triple techs are not worth it. I guess I was too vague with my statement saying 'magic', specifically I was referring to double and triple techs. I've written a breakdown of what I'll do if I were to do delta force your way. It's going to be long, but I hope you see my point.

  • reminds me of final fantasy X's magus' sister's thingy...

  • Wouldn't it make more sence if they used Riddle instead of Razzly? but I love all these vids you put up

  • @zexionshadearchive5 No, since Riddel and Serge are the same element.

  • I'm playing through the game for the first time; definitely one of those types that really needs some kind of warning to the player that a certain choice could prevent you from getting something very important.

At least there's a New Game Plus feature to aid that little problem.

  • You kind of need a stategy guide to get everybody, because there's no way you'd ever get it all by yourself. The game doesn't even make it clear who your 3 choices of guides are into Viper Mansion.

  • Hell, I didn't even know about all the optional characters until my only party members consisted of Kid and Nikki. I'd missed about a handful of them by then.

  • @Davideogamer yeah there are too many characters... like skelly for which me search lots of islands... pip, van, the scientist at viper manor and her flower like stuff is also a character... mel, doc of guldove, poshul at arni, leena , lots of characters...

  • @genmaximus110 yup but Guike is the best choice i think

  • well they have pretty much the same triple tech in chrono trigger. never got this one though. it was too much work playing through multiple times and then just trying to aquire their techs was a pain in the butt as well...

  • Oh my, now I see where Square got the inspiration for the Magus Sisters' Overdrive.

  • quiero ese atake

  • Serge, the girl you get for giving counter-intuitive answers during the first game fork, and a character who you can both easily miss and even-more-easily miss the L7 tech for. It's pretty weird.

  • Serge? It's Leena isn't it?

And yeah, it is extremely easy to miss Leena out as the first fork is the only chance you'll get to have Leena.

  • Yep.

Leena is tough to get because you have to tell Kid to take a flying leap instead of join you.

Razzly is worse. A) You have to agree to save Kid's ungrateful arse instead of leaving her to croak (and thus you won't get Glenn). B) It's easy to go north in the Hydra's den instead of south to find Razzly. C) If you use Razzly in the boss battle (which takes place about 10 paces north of finding her), you can't access her Level 7 tech later. Without her tech, you don't get Delta Force at all.

  • @rubino83 oh ...

  • como consiges esa tecnica?

  • esta tecnica es bien facil tiene que tener los numero 7 en los elemento que aparecen en cada uno de ellos tres vealo bien para que asi salga esta tecnica

  • Is this worth the party settup?

  • This party is pretty decent, but with regards to the triple tech, I think forget it.

  • FFX? This move was originally in Chrono Trigger in 1995...

  • @Zryuken you own.

  • @Zryuken I think that it was even present way back in Final Fantasy 4 (U.S. 2). You fought the Magus Sisters and they used a Delta Attack, but I don't think there was any way for the party to learn it.

  • @Zryuken It's also in FFIV when you fight the magus sisters, but it's called Delta Attack there, and they just bounce off Ra-magic from reflect on cindy.

  • Yeah but in Chrono Cross, it's more like a graphics thing...the only one that I find useful is X-Strike.

For the rest, normal attacking will outdamage anytime.

  • i love how they incorporated Combine Techs from the first game

  • sweet ty i've wanted to know how to do this for a long time
