Yo.This brings back memories were i grew up and lived in southphilly.Double parking .You had to track down the owner so you could get your car out.Fighting over

parking spots in winter because you cleared the snow and that was you spot.

Well i live in the Poconos now with enough land for a paking lot.I sure don't miss

Heh - I don't miss the days of this mess. I'm moved to Nebraksa or military work, but I remember the nutty South Philly parking. I love that the cops can't ticket anyone because NOBODY parks legally: dudes parked on the median, double-parked, stopped in the middle of the street while they try to find something in the house...yikes. They would have to ticket the whole block.

And all of Philadelphia is that way. Some young guy was ready to fight my 80 year old neighbor for supposedly stealing his spot. I shoveled the whole block and erased the need for anyone to claim entitlement over a parking space. The guy was like 21. He was a new neighbor renting. He didn't last long.
