  • Why didn't this make it on the Buckingham Nicks album? Maybe it was written later. I like Trouble in Shangri-la, but this is the best version of this song.

  • Good version, fer sure.

  • Sometimes Stevie's songs intertwine, just like "Forest of the Black Roses"" in the movie "Practical Magic". Does it really matter? The music is what really matters!

  • the beginning part (the instrumental guitar) of this recording is the song django from the LP, then they go into sorcerer. lady from the mountain was the original title of the song, and i guess that's what she (stevie) was calling it at this point, when it was less finished. but as far as i know they are the same song.

  • maybe this was the original title for this song, then they changed it to sorcerer, i love this version though ...

  • her voice has aged gracefully ...

  • I like how her voice is different but then again its the same...its so interesting...I LOVE stevie!!!

  • just a note: Lady From the Mountain and Sorcerer are two separate songs.

  • Actually.. there is speculation... In a demo of Lady From The Mountain she says "Lady From The Mountain*S* part 2..2, 1, 2, 3, 4" then she starts playing.. So this could very well be Lady From The Mountains part 1.. as she is introducing the song in the beginning of this clip as being "Lady From The Mountains"...

  • let's see, same lyrics, same musical signature notes.... but different songs you say. Ahem.

  • @deaddoc yes, because there is another song called Lady From the Mountain that is entirely different from Sorcerer. Search for it; it's on here. But as GeminiCusp says, it might be part of a chain of songs, like Rhiannon.

  • Omg! This rules!!!:)

  • Used in the movie Streets of Fire, but sung by Marilyn Martin (Chick that did Separate lives..a duet with Phil Collins)

  • Well they were trying for that "Stairway to Heaven" Led Zep sound. Props for the effort as well as respect for everything else.

  • Amazing!! Stevie and Lindsey's voices together are perfect as always!

  • Wow! Her voice sounds very different!

I believe this was "pre-drugs" as she said in the commentary on the "Crystal Visions" DVD

    I love its clearness! Rocks!!!

    Thank you for posting!

    I <333 Stevie!!!

  • Great live version of Sorcerer! I've got a good one from a different show, but it fades out at the end...

  • wow!!!i love stevie
