I think you should give Delta a break. Natural Woman isn't the most difficult song in vocal range. Carole King, who wrote the song, can still sing it despite lacking Aretha Franklin's range. Arethra's version is amazing because of her soul and power not just her range. Given the fact that Delta didn't have time to rehearse and figure out what key to sing the song, she did a good job. If given more time she could have found a key that she wouldn't have to struggle to hit the high notes.

I think you should give Delta a break. Natural Woman isn't the most difficult song in vocal range. Carole King, who wrote the song, can still sing it despite lacking Aretha Franklin's range. Arethra's version is amazing because of her soul and power not just her range. Given the fact that Delta didn't have time to rehearse and figure out what key to sing the song, she did a good job. If given more time she could have found a key that she wouldn't have to struggle to hit the high notes.

Just discovered Delta early this year, from then on I've been listening to her songs everyday & loving them more each day. To all Delta's fans out there, we knew Delta better than these people who are trying to put her down. It's true you can't pleased everybody...& I think Delta is not trying to please them, she's here because music is her passion and she just wanted to share it with us. We all know she truly deserves this kind of break in the US. No matter what, we're solid DELTA fans!!!
