Hi Chris. Great tribute and well played. I was in 3 Cav Regt in Vietnam in 1966/67. I played my bagpipes there. I believe that I was the first Aust soldier to do so. Best wishes and Tally Ho the Fox.
@47jannie Sorry for late reply mate, we were travelling, I have had many a comfortable ride in an APC as a Grunt so I have a great appreciation for you guys. Proud to meet you yankeemedic and just today we repatriated the last 2 missing servicemen back to Australia. Crashed their Bomber in 1970 and were recently found and their remains brougt back today. Thanks mate and as we say in The Royal Australian Regiment, "Duty First"
Had a good Long Hai Day on 28th Feb 2011 at National Memorial Walk, Enoggera Barracks, Brisbane. BBQ after at same location.
