I am Software Engineer. I came to UK to settle here permanently. Ive had numerous moments, sitting at my office desk in London wearing my suit - sudden glimpses,flashes,memories of the moments I spent with my friends, my people who need improvement, my hometown. I have some ideas. I am targeting Govt institutions. Thanks to a freshly broken heart, god made my decision to go back easier, but then perhaps there is a Geetha awating me in the paddy fields.
Come back to India my brothers nd sisters nd serve ur motherland, no matter how corrupt nd unorganized Indian working condition is. At the end of the u wil give back and feel proud to do something for ur motherland nd its ppl. Not something for an alien nation but ur own nation.

I am going back to India tomorrow after staying two years after finishing Master's in the U.S. I was the craziest U.S. fan and wanted to stay here before I left India. Im from Nepal living in Canada for many years. I can completely relate to this movie. Ah! Diwali (called Dipawali in Nepal), the colors of Holi, the tika on the forehead after prayers, street food, going to the movies with friends, living with your parents, touching their feet for blessing, family gatherings during Durga pooja...I miss our culture, and our way of life. But what to do-- we have to make a living which we cant bck home. This song brings a lump in my throat every time I hear it.

I am an upcoming Rocket Scientist of India and a young author. I study in US and I can tell you one thing. I feel very proud to be associated with India and I want to work for ISRO. I got advises to join NASA from every Indian friend of mine. I told them:"What is the real challenge? To send man to Mars from NASA or from ISRO?" People call me a fool planning to leave US and return to India, mainly because of corruption. I believe one generation has to make a big sacrifice to make India the best.

Well, Patriotism doesn't mean that any country is superior to others but it reflects that you love your country and want to make it better. Same was the message delivered by SRK in one of the scene in this movie. BTW I am a Pakistani. I would also like to go back to my country one day. This song is sooo inspiring, A.R.Rehman rocks. Love from a Pakistani. Peace and prosperity for both Pakistan and India.

The song has a very very deep meaning. Every time I listen to i have tears in my eyes. especially when it says..." tu hi to hai raah jo dikhaye, tu hi to hai ab jo ye bataye... jaaye to kis disha mein jaaye yahi desh" .... it actually asks a question to the well educated youth of India who settle abroad.
