I just bought the 2 original submission master DVD's. It looks like there's a lot of stuff that i'll be able to add to my game. The great thing about these DVD's is that grapplers can learn from each others styles rather than keeping everything secret and not getting better.
yeah, i agree with you 100% about grapplers learning from each other, makes a huuuge difference, im a Judoka, sparring with guys from other grappling styles is such a learning experience
Judo in all honesty is not much of a grappling style, the whole 10 seconds on the ground thing, and the rewards of turning on your stomach and giving your back make it impractical as a grappling art... That said, Judo's takedowns and TD def, can be applied (with some adaptation) for better success in MMA and other Sub Grappling...
@80JayJay8 I agree with you totally, which is why i am disgusted at the people on YouTube, most of them BJJ practitioners, criticizing on the arts out there like catch and saying it's pro wrestling bullshit and BJJ is better. I'm assuming those assholes don't know who Kazushi Sakuraba is...
@WarriorBlackBanner im in the same boat as you. if i could, i would be training catch wrestling right now instead of jiu jitsu. i wrestled in high school also. Fuck if i could go back i would have solely trained catch wrestling and let that be that.
Jiu-jitsu guys can't do leglocks. Train both styles and see which one is more effective. Jits is cool but catch is on a different level.

@TyVoltage88 Most BJJ guys I know have a healthy respect for catch wrestling. I don't know where you're finding these people.
