Whoever said it wasn't Peter Criss who was playing there who else could it have been? Peter is the original drummer of KISS and always has been. Of course it was a different playing style because it was their first time playing on national television, and of course Peter's kit was different because it was a Pearl kit and now he's rocking a DW kit. Need I remind you KISS wasn't rich back then and everyone had long hair, just look it up if you don't believe me!

@MOSKII58 Actually, Van Halen DID sound like this before they were produced. Listen to the demos of "Runnin' With The Devil," etc. Eddie is better than any KISS guitarist, however.
