it's not that they don't speak correctly,

it's just that they tend to emphasize guttural letters much more.

honestly that's the original correct pronunciation, but since globalization melded us in with the rest of the world those guttural sounds have largely become more and more understated.

nowadays their original use just sounds like a mishmash between proper modern dialect and an arabic accent.

In a nut shell, the song says that after the Yom Kipur war (in '73), we said there shouldn't be another war and we should strive for peace. The song chides our leaders for not living up to their promises to our children, that there will be peace and they won't have to go to the army.

The Oslo song sent a chill down my spine. How much more does Israel have to endure? Can you get it posted in a major forum in Norway? (which voted for admitting 'Palestine' to UNESCO. One of my favorite countries in the world but they have a lot to answer for in terms of Israel.
