  • nice edit to that art work

  • epic

  • Very nice modification; I noticed one thing about your final artwork though. The horizontal "Genesis" text on the spine is too big; it bleeds slightly onto both panels.

  • hey man, where can i get that awesome mix of space harrier? nice vid too

  • wow, those cases look great!

  • Whenever I see Cosmic Carnage, I think of Mark from Classic Game Room. LOL

  • @DecepticonMecha Nice! How can you not???

  • @BigDaddyGamer96 Butthurt? Raging at Luke?.

  • thats a great idea, do you think it would a famicom cartridge would fit?

  • great video thank you you helped me so much i have seen all your vids and have been a fan for some time ever since the nes and gamecube mod great video keep going :)

  • @RetroGameTech Great idea man!!

  • I have Metal Head in the original case and it's in great condish. :)

  • @Ostnizdasht206 condish??? was 4 more letters really that hard haha.

  • @hymen1847 I dunno.. that's just how I say it. :/

  • @Ostnizdasht206 haha its cool, i've just never heard that before

  • nice job on the cases man, lookin good and way to recycle!!

  • WOOT! An R4!

  • awesome video. they look great.

Won't work in North America though, our DS cases are too thin :(

  • You got me into modding and collecting retro gaming things. I found a Sega Genesis Nomad the other day with Shadow Runner in the cartridge slot, I found it in the "throw away" pile of junk in the back of the Goodwill. It takes a 9V DC plug in so I found one and plugged it in but something is wrong with the soldering I think because it didn't power on. When I gently move the power adapter like a joystick in either direction the power flickers on and off. Awesome uploads, keep em' coming!

  • thats a great idea i will do that for my loose MD games, how's the ps2 comming along ?

  • Sounds like a good idea since 32X boxes are scarcer than the games themselves. :)

  • YESSS

  • Good idea mate, looks pretty good.

  • Brilliant :)

  • What kind of printer did you use? Ink or Laser? Cause I've noticed that when I use ink on glossy paper - the picture gets all smudgy and stuff.

  • @Herc0gs Just a regular cheapo Canon inkjet printer. Just make sure the settings are set to glossy photo paper and highest quality. The printer will then take it's time to give you a nice quality image.

  • @RetroGameTech Awesome! Thanks, man!

  • @Herc0gs yeah u need a printer with settings for glossy paper or that happens u also need to let it dry before u touch it i like to use semi gloss i find glossy to shiny if u cant get semi gloss try matte that also works great but if your printer does not have settings for these types of paper u may just want to use plain paper

  • Great Idea I have a Bunch of 32x Games that are loose that im going to do this to. Great Video Man!

  • @SpinTheDemon I highly recommend :). The best custom boxart I could find was from digitpress. I'll be finishing off the rest of my carts later this week. You should post a vid of your collection when it's done.

  • That's pretty ingenious, I'm gunna sort out some of my 32x games now:) Lol at Cosmic Carnage.

What's the theme in the background though? it sounds like street fighter but I can't put my finger on what it is and it's starting to wind me up...?

  • @vestibual Haha, I was wondering when someone would ask :P . The music in the first half of the vid is the Bayonetta climax remix of the After Burner theme. The second half of the vid is the climax remix of Space Harrier :) .

  • The Cosmic Cargane case looked really epic. Good job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Very cool! Unfortunately over here in NA we have slimmer DS/ 3DS cases. I've used UGC's for my 32x games, Luckily they are cheaper over here! :)

  • nice idea.

  • Very good idea! Can you make a video of all of them on the shelf once done?

  • Very nice dude :)

  • cool

  • Very nice work :))

  • Smart idea, i just keep my loose games in a plastic drawer tower. Annoying how some games dont have end labels so this would work perfect if anyone had a suitable set of cases to mod.

  • thats a great idea man.. if i ever find ds boxes ill use them to store my loose genesis games..

  • awesome idea dude:-)

  • You can't just use tape and a sharpie?

  • what kind of printer did you use and paper?

  • Try using PhotoShop to re-size the images because PhotoShop reduces distortions when resizing

  • very cool.

  • Ive got a fat dvd case that i think would be good as it would be like the original box/case but plastic and the cover would be around the right size and there is space for instructions. if i knew what these cases are called i would say!

  • Would they not fit in Mega Drive boxes?

  • @crunchinjelly They're just slightly bigger than Mega Drive carts so don't fit properly. Also, original Mega Drive boxes are hard to find in good condition and cost even more than those UGCs.

  • cool idea

  • Gr8 idea.......

would it work for N64 games???

Where would u get the cases???

    cheers.......

  • @MrMcoleman28 I tried but the N64 carts are a little too fat so don't fit.

  • Very innovative!

  • They look great, cool little hack

  • Nice idea, saves all the carts flying around.
