Hey, I just wanted to suggest something. Try giving your does at least 1 week break from babies/being preggo. Its only fair, plus it will keep them healthier and in better condition. Being preggo AND nursing a bunch of 12 week olds would literally KILL her. She needs time to gain some weight back. Take it from a successful show breeder. :)
you need to give her a break between weaning litters, AND having a litter. Responsible rabbit breeders do not overbreed their rabbits.

A doe will prefer to dig a den appose to using a nesting box, so will probably end up digging regardless.

Why on earth would you want to kill baby rabbits? D:

@guineaguineapigchann cause 2 rabbits make 600 lbs of meat (not to mention fur), in a years time which is more than a cow and bull can do in a year.

Great job! Looks great & they have nice fresh grass!

This is much better than having them in some tiny metal cage for their whole life. Nice idea !!

I'm doing the same, but I'm just using large "dog" cages with the floor-pan removed. My American Chinchillas have never tried to dig out.

@paydirt1227 i do the same thing. Those old dog cages make great tractor crates. I don't leave mine out in them all the time though.

Super job! I've been wondering how to raise rabbits mimicking nature. Give us an update when you learn more....I'm on the edge of my seat. Zane
