  • This guy is carrying the flag right now for the blues and the rock and is keeping it alive! So good! Why aren't the kids getting in this these days?

  • @midstokkemusic Well.. I'm a kid.. 17 years old.. And I'm here.. :)

  • @raulsag Keep it alive brother! Glad to see you here!

  • Prefer the Otis Rush version. ho hum. It has a certain sound and simplicity suited to the sentiment of the song. Probably just me.

  • HMMM the dogs bollocks this track , English ale and on me bike .

  • enjoy joe

  • Otis Rush "Legend"

  • He is amazing, does not get better than him!!

  • Beautiful :') bings tears too my eye's

  • what a sooperb guitar player wana c this guy live !!! missed him with black country comunion ,, but will catch him next time

  • Another great song

  • Joe is my favorite bluesman because he is in a class of his own. He plays that Les Paul like no other and makes sounds on it that make me tingle. His music is so genuine and pure and to the core. And to be great at the age of 12 like he was.......and to be noticed by none other then BB King...ohhhhh wow. Joe is the shit my friends and I admire him greatly!!!

  • this song made me nut

  • heard one blues song you heard 'em all

  • @Wafflesaurus that could be said about any genre. of course songs of the same genre are going to share structure, progressions, or at least some aspect.

  • @Wafflesaurus That's just pure ignorance what you just said.

  • @WSemesteR

WRONG! I didn't JUST say it, I said it 1 month ago.

  • @Wafflesaurus My apologies. What you said a month ago was pure ignorance!

  • @WSemesteR

I accept your apology and duly noted.

  • @Wafflesaurus So be it.

  • Great playin & style but just reminds me Gary Moore

  • Love this live :)

  • man thats great..

  • hey guys, thanks so much for your support. Please go to the Official Joe Bonamassa YouTube Channel and subscribe!

  • this makes me not want to tell people I "play" the guitar...wow. he's ridiculous in the studio as well as live...friggin champion

  • Amazing..

  • 2:23 on = religious experience

No fucking joke. I'm buying a guitar right now.

  • Who's the one disliked that song?

  • Bullshit boys.. Defo got pehaps more "genuine" blues fell more than Mr moore...

But like all good blues players Joe knows when to name check and is not afraid to state from who he he steals..

A Great guitarist. But only a good blues player compared from those he takes from. As for best of a generation... I think not.

Matt schofield, Oli brown. etc THE BLUES WILL NEVER DIE!

  • Yes, he IS awesome, and I love many blues players, but he can be surpassed....try listening to Kenny Wayne Shepherd, or Gary Moore, they too will knock your socks off!

  • Hate to disagree, but JB knocks the socks of Gary Moore. Gary has become a complacent old man who stands on stage playing scales over and over and ignoring the audience... Joe on the other hand...

  • @matthewrotherham gary moore is old now, be fair to him : ( i think gary moore at his best (back in his days) is at least as good as joe bonamassa.

however, great respect to them both, theyre both my favourite blues guitarists

  • @oleost1342 I think that Gary Moore is comparable to the Bluesy Side of Joe. But Joe's stretches with beautiful songs like "Richmond", "When She Dances", and "Mountain Time". And then he goes Hendrix-like with songs like "Pain and Sorrow." And he's not simply good with the slide, he's killer with the slide guitar. To my ears, Gary Moore was great, but Joe Bonamassa is unique in being absolutely Great at far more styles.

  • This boy cannot be surpassed. Just look at all his videos, he can play any style of music, and with a display of driving endless licks, and a blues voice second to none. I don't believe that our generation will ever see anyone better than him. His dad, being a guitarist himself, must be so proud of him, seeing his son blow the croud's mind to such an engulfing extreme that they are just about ready to worship him at his performances. Joe is the man, don't look anywhere else for any better.

  • i honestly never cared much for the blues, but joe has really made me understand why its so amazing. we really needed a player like this for our generation to show that music can still be so many things other than what it is today.

  • @fartsyjoe there are...just search many out there...one i can say right now is John Mayer watch his live stuff once...

  • @fartsyjoe ; Well put Joe. Oh BTW = Guitar for sale......

  • this blues get the shit out of me... that's pure feeling!!!

  • I'm an old grumpy R&B bassist and I'm a BluesMan. This (in my not even humble opinion) is real blues; a real minor key blues. I know this man and his band. One of the few covers that can stand up proud next to Otis himself. MuchLove, J,C, B & R.

  • this man is walking on his balls!

    what a blues!!

  • Great playing . . . a little heavy metal for my blues but still . . . tons of feeling! 5 stars!

  • A new Jimi Hendrix!

  • Bestial

  • wicked
