First time I saw Dave was maybe 1978 at The Kwinana Hotel, first time I bought some mull and he blew me away. Took him years but at least he got the recognition he deserved. Pity the same cant be said about Saracen..Jon Ryder, John Meyer and Tony Cooper/Pete Thompson. Any Saracen fans out there still???

Dave Hole is a home grown blues legend and a very humble and likeable man. I used to see him play every weekend at the white sands hotel in Perth and it was a sad old saturday when some other band was on (Sorry other bands) great memories
