2. However, I DO NOT agree with giving people advice re: brass knuckles and so on. They're illegal. You cannot use them for self-defense. I don't know of a single state where they are legal. I have smashed open a coconut with my brass knuckles but with a hammer fist. If I ever got into a really bad street fight, I would never throw a punch with them but would use a hammer fist which would be easier on my hands.
