  • ITS A HORSE WASH

  • cute nice looking horse for a 24 yo you take good care of this horse must have been hor that day lol

  • This is precious. Thank you for taking the time to share this.

  • thats so cute :')

  • Let's vote up for our local hero!

  • That is so awesome and your horse is amazing

  • WHO SAYS ANIMALS ARE DUMB? NOT IN MY BOOK.

  • Loved this! So cute!

  • I call my horses's fly mask his "sunglasses" He loves his sunglasses and walks up every morning when I hold it up for him to see. He lowers his head and stands very still. He knows it makes his eyes feel better.

  • Thank you for explining that. I'd love to share it. But don't know about the blinders on his eyes.

  • @ForPatti They aren't blinders, its a mesh screen that he can see through but it keeps flies out of his eyes that may cause dangerous diseases and infections.

  • That's so lovely to watch. Clever horse...

  • Really cute and glad he found a way to stay cool in that heat lol. Also he looks GREAT for a 24 year old. Good job :)

  • this is great...shows the world that horses have brains too. Love it.

  • why does the horse have blinders on, if he is just relaxing in his pen area thing???

  • @ducrozet74 Its a fly mask......keeps flys off his face

  • @schmickers03 can he still see??? i noticed the other horse has one on too. I've just never seen that before, i mean ive seen blinders used for various reasons but never heard of a fly mask before...

  • @ducrozet74 Yes they can see just fine. It looks like they cant see and actually my barn has had the cops called because people thought we were blind folding our horses. It is made out of a mesh like material and its purpose is to keep flys off the horses face and out of their eyes. Keeps the horse from having to shake his head all the time and it doesnt impair his vision :)

  • @schmickers03 ok cool now i know. I'm just always concerned about animal welfare, but instead of freaking out, i ask questions and do research first, i lived on a small farm for years and i know the pain of flies, we had a few cows that got pestered all the time lol

  • @ducrozet74 Its good you are concerned and curious. Open mindedness makes for a better owner so that you can always improve the care and environment of your animals. Fly masks are amazing. Mine covers the eyes and ears and is UV protected and now I dont have to put fly spray on my horses face :)

  • @ducrozet74 my friend kate bought a retired race horse he was going to the glue factory as they say, she rescued him to use to ride, but he has a terrible temper even after years of training and health problems from being a race horse (which is cruel) she doesen't know what to do, everyone at the stable tells her to just slaughter him, but she refuses. he is now a very expensive pet and she doesent know what to do.....

  • @ducrozet74

Take him to the horse whisperer.

  • @schmickers03

I guess age has something to do with it too. I think the CNN description said this horse was 24 years old. Shaking his head might not be as much of an option. I don't know much about horses, but I assume they get tired in their geriatric years like we do.

  • awwwww so cute

  • Hes loving it...Very cute..

  • *\o/* Love how she stands in just the right spot to get spritzed on both sides ;-) Thank you soooo much for sharing your clever old girl's heat relief tricks! ♥

  • I had a pony that liked to stand in the sprinkle. Gotta love silly horses

  • Cute!

  • THAT is the Worlds Most EPIC HORSE!!!!!<3

  • So sweet..I like how s//he gets impatient and looks down at it when it goes the other way.

  • Smart horse!
