Bowzer (aka Jon Bauman) was the lead singer of 50s-like group Sha Na Na, who gained national attention by appearing in the movie "Grease" and recording some songs for the soundtrack. He later co-hosted with Gene for "Match Game Hollywood Squares Hour" which was a big bust and likely killed Gene's career.
